Likes

I liked the college campus area, auditoriums, air conditioned classes and library.
College techers are helping hands to the students they are so humble.
shatabdi bhawan is also a great place to be mentioned in our college.

Dislikes

I disliked not completely but somewhat the senior junior culture in the college.
I did not liked the job oriented mindset been set for the students not for the development on the whole.
I did not liked the two different campuses concept for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Cource curriculum I can say good here, It is a bit different from that of AKTU but it has comprehensiveness and relevance both. Cource curriculum semesterwise is good as per the time interval provided and student's developmental probes.

Class Size: 59Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements can be rated as good to moderate level. 100% placement criteria is true for this college but keep in mind it could be individual and mass recruitmental in nature. After completing this cource you can apply for relevant job opportunities if you did not like the idea of campus placement after cource completion.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure as been told is 1 lakh 35 thousand as tuition fee. You can avail UP Government scholarship and other organisations for college students.Financial assistance also provided for needy ones. Campus employment in teh final year of college.

Campus Life

My overall experience on the campus life is good. It has airy and green campus area all around. You can have a watch round if you want college did not restrict so much on that idea. College infrasture to be talked about is also good to say.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facility is good. You are provided separate hostels every year of your degree. Hostels are also airy have common room, gym area, and games and euipments provided for sports activities. Mess area is clean and wide.

Hostel Fee: INR 61000 per year

Admission

Admission process is totally online. It operates online rounds and spot rounds for on campus enrollments. Appliaction process is smooth is online in its official website. Cut-offs are upto 1 lakh rank. Admission process avails double fee than AKTU thats what I didnt liked.

Faculty members are well qualified some of the information I can provide regarding to their educational qualification, they hold especially mtech degrees from reputed institutes of the country or outside.

I am a B. Tech student so I am happy with my course. As we can see the world is full on dependent on network so I decide to choose computer science. Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

Placement Experience:

Here you'll get placement cell for placement training. But most the students studying here aren't interested in placement. Most students go for GATE examination or UPSC examination. Even I have plan to go for UPSC examination. There are many rankers passed from here. I think the highest package in 2024 was of 12LPA and average was 4LPA. There is not very high paying visit from any company. But in off campus there are some students who have cracked 45LPA per annum package at Amazon. I my opinion if you are passionate about any government examination then definitely you can opt for this college . And if you want placement then make your self perfect and go for off campus.

Kiet is good choice if you are keeping it in options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In our autonomous batch there are more practical and project based subjects. There is one subject called design thinking in this we have to think of real life problems and empathize about it abs find or create solutions for them it can a whole new system, a simple app or machine or even a campaign as long as it helps society. There is one ihs subject also which promotes my branch (ECE) in pharmacy , like teaching about medical devices and technology and even our semestet projects are like creating portable ecg machine, creating automatic wheelchair, temprature- oxygen- heartbeat sensor abd recorder etc. It increases difficulties but also improves chances for placemenys in your 4th year if you are already creatibg such things in 1st sem. Frequency and difficulty of exam is moderate i think.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats. Counselling goes for three round.If not get selected, you can try last time in spot round if seats are vacant. Only students with jee mains result will get admission....Read More
