Likes

Faculty is good. They are very supportive.
Teaching method and mentorship quality is nice
Campus is beautiful and huge. Canteen Library everything is nice

Dislikes

I don't like the external area of college.
It is not much safe after evening 5 o'clock
I don't like is ground. During rainy season, ground is always fluided with water.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is good in teaching. They use different examples to teach a concept. They assure that each and every student have cleared the concept in their mind. They ask Questions in between lectures so they make us attentive during the class

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Deloitte consulting, Some pharmaceutical companies also visit in our campus. This year average highest package is around 3.4 LPA. This year Percentage of students getting placed is very low. Because companies are not approaching this year for campus placement. But it is around 30-40%

Fees and Financial Aid

So fees for general category is about 1 lakh per annum. And for OBC is about 50 thousand per annum. This includes all cost such as tuition fees, library, laboratory, computer labs, gym, sports everything.

Campus Life

Euforia is one of the biggest fest of college. There are technical fest also arranged by college. Library contain each and every book which related to the course. There are e-classrooms for BE Final year students.

Admission

So basically there are 2 methods of admission. 1 - online process. On the basis on our CET or jee marks. And other is offline process. They will ask you for donation or something without donation also they give admission.

Faculty

Okay so there are around 65-70 students per class. In my batch there are 3 mentors. So around 20-25 students per mentor. Faculty is very friendly. They support you every time. They help you in projects. They guide students for career also.

the course is fairly relevant and covers the fundamentals required in the Field of CSEDS . the curriculum helps students build basic knowledge that can support both industry career and higher studies. the exam structure generally includes internal assessments, assignments and end sem examinations, the frequency is manageable.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

Placement Experience:

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

I took this college because it was easy to me for travelling to college. I also applied to other college but the cutoff of other college were a bit high. If you wanna have a college life join Pillai HOC but the only badside is very low placement percent

I applied in sies but i was getting aids which i didn't wanted and i also applied in pillai college of new panvel in which for just 4 percentile less i didn't get the ce branch in it and the admission for be is through cet cap round and institute level round and the cutoff for my branch in all india quota is 82 which was mine and the admission process was really really smooth and the college staff was really helpful with every like during admission i was not having my caste Validity but they gave me a time of 3 months too submit it...Read More
