Course Curriculum Overview
There is a new rule of conducting two mid sem examinations every sem since 2023 which is really hectic but on the other hand, it helps us to cover the syllabus before the end sems, the classes are all held on time the library is a little stuffed but overall not bad, the exams are held in a professional manner and the difficultly level is same as IPU end sems so you are well prepared, the faculty takes these exams very seriously.
Placement Experience
the placements as we have heard from seniors are quite good compared to other tier two colleges in IPU, our average package is 15L but it varies every year, big companies like Google Microsoft amazon also come to MSIT but they barely take 1 or 2 children so at the end it depends on your skills. off-campus placements are also available
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of the first year is nearly 1.6L and further it decreases to 1.4L, the fees is definitely not affordable for all but it is not very expensive as well, for hostels facilities you have to pay 1L per annum, and scholarships are available for lower caste students. the placement as we have heard from seniors are good everyone gets a placement somewhere on campus but of course you need good skills and a CGPA above 8 to get a good package, the college provides everything but at the end, it's in your own hands
Campus Life
There are many societies in the colleges like debate music dance environment cultural social tech coding etc and most of them are working really well , the campus life is not bad and there are many cafes around the college. most of the events like fests and ethnic days are also held by societies.
Admission
FOR BTECH , as i am in information technology field the admission was thought JEE the percentile changes every year and is different for all casts students for general students like me the average for IT is 89-93 percentile approximately, after getting selection by IPU admission website you just have to come to college to complete the admission process and pay the fees and its a one day matter
Faculty
most of the faculty is helping and understanding, they are good at teaching and very well experienced . they all have done post graduation and most of them are approachable and sweet but exceptions always exist everywhere so you cant expect everyone to be same but mostly its not a bad experience.
