Remarks

The college and the college management is really good.

Entrance Preview

I opted for this college because I loved the campus and the lecturers were really friendly and the quality of education and knowledge they provided is superb. The overall experience is superb and I would recommend anyone who’s willing to take up engineering to join ATME.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The first year of the college includes all the subjects from different branches which helps us gain a knowledge of each and everything. Then the next three years focus on core branch subjects. The third year students need to do a mini project on the selective topic and the final year students need to do the main project.

Internships Opportunities

Ou college has partnered with cisco which provides internships to the students and hence they wont have to go to other companies for the same. The experience is great.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is a special cell in our college called as training and placement cell. This department takes care of all the placements and job opportunities. Currently very few companies come to our college for recruitment but hope in the next coming year this changes.

College Events

2.5

Fresher’s day - this event is celebrated to welcome the new students to the college. Cultural fest - this includes a 3 day program including ethnic day which includes all the cultural activities like dance, etc. Kannada Rajyotsava - this marks the celebration of kannada rajyotsava.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quiet expensive compared to the other colleges. Pay that much amount of money and traveling almost 10-15kms daily frm the city to reach the college, and studying there is not worth. If the same amount of money is given in some other college , we get better college and better environment.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no much idea about the scholarship/ loan facility provided by the college. But I have heard from my friends about it.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is quite good and the ambiance and overall experience are really well. The gender ratio is approximately 60 men to 49 women. A number of extracurricular activities take place. There are very well-equipped labs in our college. Overall summing up, everything is good.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There is no hostel facility provided in college for the students joining this college from different states and cities. Hope the college management think something about it and find a solution for it. There is no mess but there’s a canteen where the food is very hygienic and tasty.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a good alumni network and the senior students are always ready and welcome the juniors to help with anything they need.

Exam Structure

There is a scheme of 20-80. This means that 20 marks are taken as internal marks in which students have to write 3 internals per subject per semester out of which the average is taken and in semester exam he has to take up the exam for 80 marks in which scoring 28 marks as minimum is compulsory.

Admission

I got admitted to this college through COMED-K exam which is an entrance exam. This sums up to the management quota. If one gets a seat in this college, he/she has to go to the management office which is located in Saraswathipuram near fire brigade and complete the admission process with all the formalities.

Faculty

4.5

The professors are really very friendly. They are always ready to help the students in each and every way possible coming out of the box if a student needs their help. They are very knowledgeable and most of them have a very good communication skills.

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%
