- The infrastructure is well-developed and provides all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and convenient living environment. The presence of banks, cafes, a sports arena, and a shooting range caters to a wide range of interests and needs.
- I appreciate their placement cell's efforts in preparing us for placement exams. They cover a wide range of topics, including aptitude, verbal, technical, and, most importantly, soft skills.
- The faculty members are highly experienced and dedicated to supporting students. They are always available to provide assistance and guidance whenever needed.
Dislikes
- There is room for improvement in their ERP system, as it lacks in several areas.
- The strict regulations will remain in effect regardless of the circumstances. Attendance is mandatory, and no exceptions will be made for offline internships during college unless a job offer has been secured.
- A significant number of undergraduate students are present here who are solely focused on enjoying their college experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is comprehensive, encompassing a wide range of topics and providing hands-on experience through laboratory sessions. However, the limited selection of electives within my course is a concern, as it restricts the opportunities for specialization and tailored learning. The allocation of electives should be reviewed to ensure a more diverse and inclusive range of options for students.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are satisfactory, with many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. However, the placement process for my batch will commence in late July, so I will be able to provide a more detailed assessment at that time.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees for a two-year MCA program amount to 350,000. Payment can be made in installments over the course of three semesters. Merit-based scholarships and the OP Bhalla Foundation scholarship are available to eligible students.
Campus Life
All aspects are positive, with numerous engaging technical and enjoyable events. I actively participate and organize these events. The libraries are meticulously maintained, and if a desired book is unavailable, they efficiently procure it within a week.
Admission
The admission process is straightforward, and there is no strict cutoff. However, applicants should have a minimum of 65% and a technical and mathematical background. If an applicant lacks a technical background, a bridge course is available.
Faculty
There are no concerns regarding the faculty-to-student ratio, as there is approximately one faculty member for every four students. Mentorship is provided to students to offer guidance and support. All faculty members are highly experienced and have achieved notable accomplishments, including patents and published research papers in collaboration with students.
