I got admitted in PIET through AIEEE exam. My All india rank was 58000. The main reason i opted this college is it is in the top ten colleges of NCR region. The infrastructure, faculty,Labs are excellent. Also transport facilities from nearby cities even from Delhi is available. Moreover college has a very good placement and Academic record. It is far better to other colleges that i could have got admission with 50000 rank. Also it is affiliated to Kurukshetra University which is A grade University. Besides AIEEE one can also get admission on Management Seats but that are limited and also admission is given on these seats by the discretion of the management.

The course curriculum is as per Kurukshetra University guidelines and is updated. The university exam are conducted semesterwise i.e 2 semester per year in total 08 semesters (4 years). Also three sessional exams are conducted by the college per semester to assess the students.

A number of reputed companies offer inetrnship like Honda,Maruti,ISGEC,HCl,Infosys. Even international internship is offered in countries like germany,England,Holland etc. Internship is offerred in Government sector undertaking too. I took internship in Maruti,Gurgaon and was offered 20 K and had a wonderful experience which really helped me in placemet time.The stipend offered is somewhere in between 15 to 20 thousand. Government Undertaking don't offer any stipend.

Out of 120 students in our stream 82 were placed either in campus or offcampus drive. The leading companies visited the campus areCompany Package (In Lacs) Microsoft 21,Infosys 5 ,Accenture 7,Jaypee group 4.5,Apollo 5,Godrej 5Oracle 4,Mahindra 3.5,ACC 2.5,Dainik Bhaskar 2.25 all three Wings of ArmyBeside these there are other companies that visit the campus but are of lower profile or B.P.O 's.

The main college events are CARBUNCLE A event organised for the new comes i.e freshers every year with a number of cultural events. Also out of newcomes Mr. fresher and Miss Fresher are selected. MAESTROS It is an annual Inter institute Technical and Cultural fest,various events like dancing,singing,poetry,quiz,poster making etc are conducted. Annual Sports Meet is also held. PIET Quest is also organised every year for the students of schools and polytechnics. A 03 day event where nearly 75000 from 350 school colleges participate. National level seminar and workshops are also organised on a regular basis.

Fees is expensive but considering the facilities,infrastructure and placement it is woth to pay the fees. Moreover there is relaxation in fees for poor students and students with excellent academic records. Odd semester fees- 71,000 Even Semester fees-31,500,Transportation fees vary from 7000 to 30000 depending on location.Hostel charges Non ac two seater 75000,for Ac 81000.

The campus life is wonderful where you get an excellent learning experience. You get numerous oppurtunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. You get a good exposure to shape your personality. Also periodically workshops are organised to show ur skills and enhance your technical knowledge. Parties are organised in hostel specially during festival times i.e diwali,newyear etc. Also intra college and inter college debates is also organised by the college. National level seminars is organised in the institute. College provides a good platform to work on models specially robotics etc. There is no discrimination in the college on the basis of race,religion,gender etc. The college has strict rules regarding ragging and it is totally banned in the institute also zero tolerance towards discrimination.

The hostel is available both for boys and girls. Both AC and Non AC rooms are available. The roms are spacious and are available on sharing basis (Two seater and three seater). The hostel capacity for boys is 150 and tha of girls is 50. I availed the host

The alumni network is not strong as the fisrt batch of the college passed out in 2010. But still the seniors are very helpful and help the current students regarding their academics, Placement.
