Likes

Nice faculty and they also conduct various hackathons , events etc
There is full freedom and time given to you and u can use it productivity.
There are may clubs which organises certain events which are helpful to us

Dislikes

The fees is little high for the hostel and college if u can afford it it is the best place to study

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good it includes latest trends like AIML or data structure or iot. And students can select an open elective irrespective of their course where they can learn what they like or what they are interested in . The teaching is quite good .

I am still a second year student at this college and most of the internship opportunities are provided from IIT hyd and they also have intership partners. According to seniors most of them have done internships outside and college had provided specific time for interships

Some of the top recruiters including Tiger Analytics, Accolite, Deloitte, TCS Digital, Keka, Optum, South India Bank and many others have visited the campus and 550 offers were made 90 percent of the students are placed this year .

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees for cse and specialisations are starting from 346000 and every year it increases by 18 percent and they will provide u the tution fees for whole course during the time of addmission and fees may vary for people with schoolarships , u are eligible for schoolarships only if you have a rank between 1 to 25 k in eamcet

Campus Life

There are many events which takes place in gitam but one of the biggest is pramana event which happens every year. It a three days event , filled with activities like dance competitions etc. for sports there is an event named gusto which is conducted every year . And regular hackathons takes place every month or quater

Hostel Facilities

Hostel has many options like non AC quad sharing , AC quad sharing, ac 2 sharing , based on requirements the money varies , staring fee is 143000 and a 10k caution deposit is taken in which is refundable after vacation of hostel. The basic amenities like drinking water, wifi is available, and common washrooms , different varieties of food is served and paid washing machines , fruit shop and a store is available.

Admission

You are eligible if you have a good rank in any of the exams like jee , eamcet, gat which is conducted by University, I got a rank of 3082 and I was eligible for schoolarship of 15 percent and they also have sports based scholarships and other scholarships like siblings,alumini, employee scholarships

Faculty

The faculty are good they are qualified most of them are phd's and some are from iit's . For every 50 members there is a mentor who tracks u for 4 years or throughout the completion of course. Each class room consists 60 members.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It has regulations which is very comprehensive in covering the theoretical and fundamental concept or aspects of the engineering subjects. It includes strong core foundation in math, phy and very imp programming languages i.e core subjects. It has a guaranteed university recogniton like JNTUH. It should be improved in the teaching methords and conduct more workshops so that it'll be a practical experience for students to learn best. Jntu correction scheme is very strict.

College review: Pros, Cons and reality.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

Form the 7 th semester students are eligible for campus placements and there are placements coordinators for each branch. The highest package of the year was 51 LPA which was given by Microsoft. I will try to get placed before graduating.

NIT Warangal - A dream college

Placement Experience:

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

The course curriculum is accurate and relevant as well. This helps the students to have good knowledge and grip on current scenarios, and it also helps to survive and get placement.Tge frequency of the exams is 45 or 50 days each.And it is not so difficult because the faculty teach in a proper and understandable way in which the students can understand and attempt the exams . Coming to teaching methods, every class is having a smart screen and projector as well for better understanding.

A life of an Average Indian Student in University

I have applied to many colleges few of them are Vellore Institution of Technology (VIT), Woxsen University, Manipal University, KL University. I have applied for BTech in All these Universities. But at last moment i decided to flip my course and pursue Food Sciences and Technology so i had to let go all the opportunities in the university. I did apply for Mahindra University for BBA but u got rejected in the Personal Interview round. I got into GITAM througu their Entrance Test. I have got a scholarship of 40% in their entrence test. There are various eligibility criteria for GITAM. The main criteria would be you have to score above 60% in your Intermediate. This Universities accepts students through their own entrence test, AP and TS Eamcet, Intermediate Marks, JEE test series, NEET, etc. The most prefered exam by all the students to get into the university is the Universities Entrence test. The overall admission experience is so smooth and easy. And i realy like the management here cause they are very friendly and they make it easy to survive in this campus...Read More
