Course Curriculum Overview

4

Might Department was advertisement and marketing, and it was quite aligned to the current market scenario and the current marketing world College in nowadays is completely aligned with the new education policy as per the central government mandate. So yeah, when it comes to the curriculum and all I can say that it was, above average .

Internships Opportunities

2.5

College will not help you to get a internship program, not at all. You have to manage all these on your own. You have to visit companies. You have to write application to the managers. You have to manage on your own to get a internship. College will just provide you a new objection certificate as per your demand and that's it, internship is compulsory in the sixth semester. Rest summer internship is all up to you. If you want to go for those internships, you can go for those, and it was not compulsory for some internships and all.

Placement Experience

1.5

The College is not very good at placements as I have already mentioned that only 20 to 25% of student can get placed in campus placement and rest of the student can manage to get a job outside of the campus. Getting a 20 ?25,000 per month. Job isn't a very big deal, so I can say that College is below average when it comes to the placement, kind of thing

Fees and Financial Aid

For the batch of 2023, total fee for all three year was something around 1.5 lakhs which you have to pay in three instalments of 50,000 per year that can be divided into two parts with the help of an application to the vice principal, then your fee can be divided into 25,000 per semester, which remains the same as 1.5,00,00 per annum when it comes to the scholarship part Only OBCST and SC students can avail this scholarship facility as per the Jharkhand government mandate and you have to be the resident of Jharkhand also.

Campus Life

4

CS (Xavier) is considered as one of the best college colleges in the state of Jharkhand. So the overall experience of mine with the College is was not very bad. Neither not very good, but thing is that when you are living in Ranchi, you are living in Jharkhand, you have limited option of colleges and among those limited options. Saint Xavier Ranchi is one of the best option, so you can go for it? Don't think so much. Good college, good faculties. Just placement is bad

Admission

See in 2020, it was corona period. So at my time the admission process was quite simple. Students get admission simply according to their class 12th result, but nowadays student have to go through a whole selection process like in entrance, examination, interview and all. Yes, there is huge reservation policy for Christian students. It was approx 50%. I mean 50% of the seats were reserved for students coming from Christian community.

Faculty

4.5

See the most of the faculties were quite good. A few of them were just robot at my time when I was in the college, but still as far as I remember, most of the faculties are very supportive understanding they will treat you like their friend and not student, they will help you even in non-academic problems.

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.
