Remarks

The admission process was very smooth with proper coordination from the cllg staff and support. Cut off being on the upper level helped in creating an environment where students of high knowledge were accumulated.

Course Curriculum Overview

Artificial intelligence and data science is an upcoming branch which is most likely to dominate rather then being dominated . The curriculum currently in practice is focused on practicality or application of knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

Multiple options of internship and job opportunities present in the cllg . Along with the facilities of being a transfer student . Multiple companies like Accenture ,TCS ,Colgate, JP Morgan , Barclays are present for internship /training program

Placement Experience

Cllg offers proper placement with respect to your cgpa averaging around 8-10 LPA along with higher salaries present. For the past couple of years the placement percentage has considerably increased as more number of students opted for job instead of higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The current fees is around 170000 INR which is on comparison an average fees with scholarships present for students with monetary problem. Multiple option of scholarship are present. Currently the cllg is giving out employment or internship programs and facilities.

Campus Life

Multiple fest and events ongoing in cllg throughout the year distributed along the even and odd sem ranging from sports to technical events. Wide range of clubs available in cllg which help in building your character.

Faculty

There are ample amount of teaching staff which are ready to support students in development. Faculties approach towards teaching and mentorship is to make students more self dependent and reliable thus making them develop themselves.. Approaching teachers and stuff is not a hassle with them being readily available.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. 1. i also applied to KJ Somaiya in vidyavihar and RAIT in navi mumbai and VIT vellore. i did not choose these colleges for the following reason: expensive fees and no affiliation with mumbai university, expensive and not well regarded, large batches in each class so issues in placements, 2. i did not get rejections from any college i applied to. 3. admission to my college can be done through CAP rounds or institute rounds. the eligibility depends on your mh-cet score. only mh-cet is accpeted and jee. but only mh-cet is given importance. there is also a 51% quota for chrisitian minority students...Read More

I was getting VJTI Mech and Civil but i wanted CSE or IT branch. I also got IT in DJ Sangvi and SPIT cllg but as i stay in Mulund-Thane area it is very far from me and travelling alone took 4 hrs of the day. After all these odds this cllg was best for me as it takes only 1.5 hrs of daily travel for me. Time is money u will realize this during ur engg. Cllg only accepts CET and JEE MAINS scores. If u want to get a CS branch in this cllg ur CET score must be around 96.8%ile or around 7000 rank in cet and in JEE MAINS ur percentile must be above 94%ile or 95%ile...Read More

You can get in fr crce either through jee or mht-cet. But you need to have Maharashtra state domicile if you are looking forward to take admission via mht cet. As the college is Christian minority college 51% of seats are reserved for Christian students. The cutoff vary with branch.
