In lpu its is important to cover entire syllabus before 2 week of exam and also in orientation or zero lecture teacher teaches us why this subject is important and what are its practical use for real world knowledge sometimes practical are also given to us to improve and update ourself

TCS recently have higherd the senior for project of their on 30 thousand per month and they have gained it by their project LinkedIn also they have a suggestion from alumni of lpu which helped them to achieve intership

Placement Experience

After 3rd year you are eligible to for companies placement and companies which have recently come for hiring are TCS, Infosys,wipro, Amazon, Highest package - 3cr of batch 2023 My planes are same to get placed after graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees are 1,20,000 but as I have given lpu nest and scored well in case I got a scholarship of 28% that where my fees went from 1,20,000 to 86,400 for 1 sem. You can get a scholarship on the basis of lpu nest. By JEE percentile. Also if you have a good board percentage

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good and have tight security check up every now and then boys have no time limit for coming and going but for girls their is strictly girl should go inside the hostel before 7.45 pm and also there are some important event of intra hostel take place

Admission

Its easy to get admission in lpu if u have overall 60% or above u can get direct admission Also if you have good score in lpu nest it will help you in getting scholarship and if have low marks than over all 60% it will be hard to get admission

Faculty

1:20 is the teacher to students ratio Faculty are supportive and good also trained well some teachers are very good and some are not that but over all its good. I interact teacher every working days for my problem they support us academic and personal to sometimes

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
