I took COMED-K and scored a rank of 11400 i opted SDMCET as it was best college of North Karnataka with respect to the Stream Electronics and Communication.

The course structure is good, If student works hard they can easily achieve 8-9 CGPA. The Labs labs are good and properly equipped the problem is that the faculties are not focused on research they just make you ready to get good score only Electronics & Communication Engineering branch labs do focus little on Research.

No the college does not provide internship at it's own place the thing is that if you want to do internship at some other place during the vocation then yes they do provide the written permission on a pad allowing you to take internship at your preferred Location.

Training & Placement Cell at SDMCET is a world class institution of Engineering & Technology it has acquired this status through meritorious and innovative students, high quality faculty, and contribution by distinguished alumni. Their alumni have excelled in every field. SDMCET offers a large pool of talent to recruit from, with a wide range of specializations at UG and PG levels. The fees structure at SDMCEt is the same as through whole bangalore comed-k Fees Structure, Electronics & Comm, Computer Science, Information Science, Mechanical, Civil and Electrical is Rs. 89,650 For Chemical it is Rs. 39650 Hostel Fees : Rs.19,900.

The scholarship is only for the local people of Karnataka for sc/st they don't even charge any fee there is no loan facility at the College.

The gender Ration is about 45 girls against the 55% Boys there are lot of extracurricular activities like Cricket, football volleyball all the game are at district and state level. Student have even great chance to shape their future when comes to sexual orientation it is totally Indians and ha there is no politics in the college they don't encourage politics .

SDMCET has Well furnished modern hostel facilities for both boys andgirls with Central dining & games, Multi-Gym, TV room, News paper & Magazine section. The food is the best you can get in any college of Karnataka. They have have a common mess for both b

There is a great alumni network which ever company you visit in Bangalore you will surely find 2-3 alumni these people even visit the college for campus placements.

Exam Structure at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology is bit hectic currently there are two examination and 3 Internals you will be asked to sit for three internals and the best two will be counted as your final score

The faculty of the College are not that great there are only hand picked faculty who are very good like Prof. S. V. Viraktamath of Electronics & Communication Engineering, D.S.BHAT and D.V.PATIL of Mechanical, Prof. H.Vijay Murthy and Prof. Satish S. Desa
