Course Curriculum Overview

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is having to much popularity and boost in today's date. So it is very popular course. It started in 2016 only so it is not fully developed yet. Staff is also not having some information about the syllabus

Internships are given according to your course you are in. Companies are selected by college according to your course or some times you self have to select and approach to the companies for internship.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are not very much in this college. Only few companies comes here for placements. They give average placement package of 3-4lakhs per annum and most of them are local companies of Nashik city.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fees of this course is 55,000. It changes as per the categories. Scholarships are also given by government that are also included. College doesn't wait for some time for students to pay the fees. They force the students and parents to pay the fees before time and doesn't assists a bit. Campus placements are not much bigger in this college. Only few companies come here and average placement package is of 4lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure of this college is not developed as expected. College building's construction is not fully done yet and is stopped for some unknown reason. There are risks of falling from that under constructed floors.

Admission

Admission process is done through CAP rounds according to cut off. As this is new course so cut off of this course is low compared to Computer Science and others. You can get this course after 12th by giving CET entrance exam or you can avail this course after diploma through CAP rounds.

Some faculty members have the great knowledge about their respective subjects but some didn't even know how to explain the specific topic to students. They just read the notes and gives us to write it down. Unable to clear doubts of students.

Placement Experience:

When the students come in the Seventh Semester they are elligible for campus placements. There are many companies that come for the campus placement for example KPMG, FIVER, TCS, MICROSOFT, INFOSYS, Tech Mahindra. They all offer a package of average 870000 inr. The highest package that was offered was by microsoft for 2400000 lpa. There is a 95% of students who got placed rn and there are still companies who are coming and taking students. So the probability of students getting placed is 97%. My plans after getting degree and a job is to live happily and enjoy my life.

the course is fairly relevant and covers the fundamentals required in the Field of CSEDS . the curriculum helps students build basic knowledge that can support both industry career and higher studies. the exam structure generally includes internal assessments, assignments and end sem examinations, the frequency is manageable.

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.
