Take admission for learning not for jobs

Actually i like maths and want to do bsc and came to know about HPU .... as it was best institute in my locatity and i take admission in it. Actually teacher are good .... but we have to study ourself . Practical work may be improved no practical knowledge is given about life... emams are taken twice a year , one in December called mid term of 15 marks and the finals in month of april

Acutually the fees is very reasonable around 3400 to 3500 every year , i was in hostel where the fees was around 9000 rupees a year and around 2500 for food every month. I completed graduation and the fees was around 100000 for every thing in 3 years . I have got scholarship of 12000/- per year and tge college also give scholarships for meritorious student 25000/- per year. The placement in our college is zero . If are here for placement don't take admission .

No festival are celebrated, many science weeks are performed with some departments functions with no proper time of date can be held anytime.. the library is quite good but you have to come early if you want seats with max. Books you need for study. The classes are smart classes... sports are key feature in our campus if you are good you can go upto high level . Clubs and groups are formed an have good impact in student life

The admission was according to the merit . The more you score in 12th the easily you get admission. Reservation benefit are also there , but i was general so don't get any. You can get admission online easily with normal documents of 12th and some other. Exams are conducted twice a year , mid term of 15 marks and the finals , the level of exams are moderate. Admission process is quite good I don't think no need of improvement.

Faculity to student ratio is quite good , 2,3 student for one subject ( meaning different teachers teaches different books of main subject ) they are very cooperative many of them are PHD holders and teaches well .... we were free to ask questions
