Likes

Campus was big enough with a huge cricket ground
Transportation from the nearest railway station was available

Dislikes

As they said before joining that we'll give placement, nothing such happened
Classes were not taken seriously and were mostly cancelled
Account section staff was extremely rude to the students

I chose computer science as my degree course I was expecting that I would learn some coding language. 4 years and they didn't teach us a coding language Exams were taken very lightly and mostly were unscheduled Nothing was going according to the planned timings

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have heard that the college fees are now been increased from 135000 to 200000 It is a private college so no scholarship is there Total cost that I spent in my 4 years of learning is 600000 This includes all the fees

Campus Life

The campus was very big and beautiful Various sports were played like basketball cricket Social events were held in the campus Antarang the name of event is held every year in which various days are celebrated Sports are also been celebrated named Vijay trophy

Admission

Admission process was smooth and was very quick At the time of admission they took a aptitude test and a one to one interaction online due to the covid restrictions I took direct admission so I didn't fill the application form

As a student i will not recommend this college to anyone. No Faculty members are good at this college Mostly subject were taught by 1-2 teachers Faculty members just use to open pdf and read those only No one to one interaction was done in the classroom

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. About our college

I choose this college becoz I got admission in computer engineering under government scholarship due to good CET percentile . As I got this college in first list instead of taking any risk I confirmed the admission. I applied different colleges but was offered under private quota where fees was way higher than this . The colleges like VIT, MIT and other highly rated colleges have good practical syllabus for students where students are trained well. The sports teams is not much supported in our college but other colleges do support.
