Likes

In LPU teachers is very helpful and friendly in studies.
Infrastructure of the LPU is very eye catching.
In Campus, their is lot of food stalls. No need to worry about food varieties in college

Dislikes

In campus, I think there is more security in the campus.
Sometimes, i think we have to walk too much for our classes and for stalls.
Sometimes Behaviour of security is veryy rude to our students.

Course Curriculum Overview

LPU provides real time experience by providing workshops regarding their streams, and their fields. It provides best teachers for industrial environment.In Lpu every months it takes CA's for checking students.

Internships Opportunities

Infosys provides 10k stipends per month with all terms and conditions. Microsoft also provides better stipend to the students. There are some interviews rounds to get an opportunity to sit in MNC companies for internships.

From 3 semester, students is eligible for internships and placements. In lpu so many companies visites every year some of the companies are : Infosys, Bosch, Google etc The highest package of our University is 3 crore last year. And the percentage of the students is 40-50 % My plans after degree is going to higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

In Lpu, every fields has different fee structure and for giving relief in fee lpu takes LPUNEST scholarship test for giving some relief in fees and it also takes DD Leter, also accepts loan from banks.

Campus Life

Recently, ONE INDIA event held. This event held every year. In Campus, there is huge library where you can read variety of books and also you can issue that book for some days. In every classes has smart board and projecters for students.

Hostel Facilities

The facilities of hostel rooms they providing beds, desert coolers/AC prefered by the students and it also vary with pricing of rooms. The quality of mess foods is below average and they provide list of items but it only make few things which is not in good in taste. The registration of rooms is easily book by online in Lpu website.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of B.TECH CSE is you have atleast 75% in 12th class and more than 40% in LPUNEST Exam. Application is done by online on lpu official website. Timings of exams is totally depends on faculties of lpu and the difficulty of exams is easy to moderate.

Faculty

Teachers is very friendly in teaching they are very engaging, motivating, friendly in student-teacher relationship. And approachability of teachers is easy Overall everything is very good in LPU campus

Interview Experience

When i was in GD my topic is Economic Growth of the India Well at the time of addmission there is no interview questions but there is an entrance exam is also called scholarship exam. The process of admission is done by official website of University. For entrance exams you must knowledge of your 12th class all the topic are from your previous class.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Dislikes

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

I like my couse btech with computer science because it has high change to geeting high paying jobs and to build a successful career with my opinion they can improve their faculty with higher education qualification

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
