This College was the best I could get for Engineering as per my CG-PET Rank! I couldn't manage to qualify any other college because of shortage of JEE-Mains Marks and the bloody Indian reservation and cutoff system. I found this college to be best at my study level.

There is a central library in the college campus with huge and enough number of books more than sufficient to access the course content. Sometimes a shortage of books causes inconvenience and GATE Academy does the needful to manage in between. So thanks to the college Central Library.

No. The college doesn't provide the internship. The students generally go for BSP (The Famous Bhilai Steel Plant) or JSPL (Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Raigarh) for the needful.

Placements in engineering are just a hoax nowadays in any college. Job opportunities come but students could not manage to meet the standards of companies seeking employees. So, it is pointless to say that job opportunities are not availed in college.

SAMVID is the name of the cultural Fest and Techfest organized at SSTC (Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus ) where students from various colleges come to participate in the attractive and joyful events organized during the fest. It happens a 3-day fest every year during the month of February.

The sports in this college is very effective . AMMC is organized in the campus for cricket. University basketball competitions are organized. The college has its own Band and also have the best NSS unit of the state. It also has a group of Dramebaaz and has an effective infrastructure individually for cultural activities.

The Hostel is a blunder in the college. It is very informal and people living in the hostel could do anything (of course the girl's hostel is protected and rules to be followed) but the boy's hostel is a blunder to survive and various mischievous activities prevail.

The Exam is conducted as per CSVTU (Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University). Final End Semester occurs after 2 CT and 4 Monday Tests of each subject. The End Sem Occurs in the month of December and for even sem in the month of May-Jun every year.

I opted for CG PET 2016 and passed the entrance exam by 53 marks with 2738 Overall rank. In the first phase of counseling, I didn't manage to get a seat in this college but afterward in the second phase, Again I selected this college in my options list for counseling and I succeeded.

Faculties are very friendly and could be reachable without any official letter or application. It is very much open campus welcoming all knowledge seekers in a very friendly and reckless way. The study is very joyful if you want to. And there is a spot for fun lovers too.
