Life at Chandigarh group of colleges

Curriculum is nice according to Punjab technical University but college teachers don't know how to teach it . Moreover agriculture is a subject which requires practical knowledge with theory . For example if you are telling about sowing, or any disease or any other agricultural interventions in plants then how can students get ready for real world if they don't have any practical knowledge in these topics because agriculture is all about fields not about pen and copies

Fees is okay but teachers don't support students according to fees structure. Also I will tell you an incident which happened with our batch . Previous batch from ours have fees 34500 per semester but when our batch enrolled in college they told us that fees is 42000 per semester. Everyone from our batch paid 42000 for 2 semester and when next batch from ours enrolled again they are told that fees is 34500 per semester.

Infrastructure is not good however they are making new building in college but infrastructure is not good . College don't have enough space for eating and for those students who are not having any classes.I mean no resting area or chilling area available. Air conditioning system is not there in college. Not have enough space in canteen or shops for eating

College don't have any entrance exam for admission.they give direct admission to students who visit their college.not cut off is required to take admission in college . They take your original documents during admission process like original birth certificate, 10 certificate and don't give it back. And when u go to accounts office to take it back in any semester then they will apply a condition to you that first payment your fees and then we will give back your documents

Faculty is not good.they don't have knowledge about subjects .they just come in class and read ppts and notes . Most of the faculties are msc from Chandigarh University. Presently department have no dean and hod . But once dean and hod are there but they are not well qualified for the posts as dean have specialisation in fisheries and hod have online degree and don't have any knowledge about subjects. They don't listen students issues .
