Course Curriculum Overview
I have decided to choose mechanical engineering in 2 to 3 years before & I like to take practical knowledge. As I said this course helped me to gain practical knowledge in future aspects. I think in this course the faculty should give more deep knowledge to us. The time of exams is properly settled & frequent.
Internships Opportunities
The companies of Cummins, nutanix, airtel, Philips, tata and many more are offering internships in our college with very good stipends & a chance to get placed in it too.
Placement Experience
As I don't know that much because I am still in 2nd year but I can say that the placements in this college is better. As I know the students in 6th semester are eligible for campus placements. Highest placement is the depend on the skill of the student but I can say it's average placement for mechanical engineer is 5-6 LPA. My plans after degree to study abroad for master's.
Fees and Financial Aid
I guess the fees in this particular college vary by the category. For SC, ST, and NT they have to pay RS. 1k for the tuition fees per annum, for OBC, EWS, and EBC they have to pay around RS.~62k & for Open RS. 112k. There is various scholarships to apply to get a scholarship. As I am in a racing car club where I am taking a role as the CAE Analyst, there are various platforms to take roles.
Campus Life
There is various functions in this college named Gandharva, FESA, Impact and so on. But if you are in a club you can go for club activity like I am in Team Redline Racing Club we are making the real F5 student racing car, we are getting different roles & responsibilities to take. Other clubs like Rangabhumi, Maths Club, Rotaract Club so on you can join.
Hostel Facilities
I am living in an off-campus hostel named Shronika hostel. This hostel is just behind the college we can go to the canteen any time. The food in the canteen is good & we have multiple options to go for eating places. The fees of the hostel are a little bit expensive but if see the distance from college & the availability of food near the hostel it's a good choice. And it is easy to get into it.
Admission
I got admission by MHT-CET with the OPEN category last year. The admission form is open on the website of CET's Cap Round. There are not many fees for the application fees. There is a catch if you are in a category you should pay less fees than the open category. Also, there is a chance of getting admission to this college if you didn't get the chance to take admission by cap, you can still get admission by spot round which is directly after the cap rounds & the admission process is smooth.
Faculty
The faculty members are very friendly. They all are very talented & nearly all are the faculty are done with the master's degree in their respective teaching subject. We interact with them regularly.
