Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is decide in such a manner that it helpful for students to implement it in industry level. All the GATE subjects are covered before 3 rd year. Also coding related topics like c,cpp, java, python are covered along with DSA. This helps students to dirsctly implement this knowledge in competitive platforms and also implement it in the project and research related works. Exams are mid semester and end semester for each semester. Mid semester is of 25 marks each subject, while end semester is for 60 marks each subject. Other matks are counted from assignments, projects and mcq tests. Course curriculum can be improved by going into more and more depth into each subject . But they also cant go into such depth because of time boundations given to them to complete the subject. Thus going into more depth in each subject can improve the curriculum of the college. Also real world applications of ai-ml, devops, cloud, etc are taught.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Sttudents get opportunities for the internships from 3rd year onwards from reputed companies. Roles offered are like testing, sde, devops, etc .So it is helpful that students can decide their own roles.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students gets benefits of internships from college from 3rd year onwards and placements from fourth year onwards. Also students are helped for offcampus placements as well. It helps students to decide their own method and company for the placement. There are special placements for girls. Companies like KPIT ,TCS, ACCENTURE, etc visits company for 22 lakh ,5 lakh, 8lakh , etc placements which helps students to get insights of the curriculum of the companies and shape themselves according to the company as well. They also helps students for abroad studies, masters, phds. So it beneficiary for higher studies as well.100% students get placed but some gets high package and some gets low and averagely 5 lakh pacakge gets allocate for each student so it is helpful for students for placement point of view as well.My plans are to learn dsa,do project, implement this knowlege in leetcode to solve 500+ problems, gets knowledge of languages, create a niece cv and entering into industries.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is according to the educational policies decided by the government. I got 50 percent discount as mahadbt rules and regulations. Also SC/ST students can get benefits for their college fees in this college.

Campus Life

5

The campus life was enjoyable, knowledgable and ups and downs in college are a part of life. Sports and extracurricular activites are promoted well in the college. There are many many clubs in college.

Admission

Admission process was very good. Many expereinced faculties were helping students to complete admission process and telling them about the correct insights of the college. Reservation benefits were explained by college faculties as well.

Faculty

4

Faculty members of JSPM College are usually PhD qaulified. So it is a beneficiary point for students to learn from experienced faculty having indusrtry experience as well. Being an autonoumous college students have some liberty to work according to their mindset and shape themselves accordingly with the help of guodance of faculty members. Also faculties are helpful for project works and team work. Faculties are very helpful for research work for publishing papers of each and every student to ensure that they are ready for the environment needed in the corporate world. Also faculties are helpful in social works like Gandharva, club activities, sports activities, events, competitions ,etc . This type of environment helps students to get most of the knowledge required to enter into the industry of corporate world. They helps us in projects, making cvs, providing on campus placements, helping in off campus placements, etc. Thus it is a good thing to stay in such niece environment for goals

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
