Remarks

The college management is very good ignoring some small issues.

Entrance Preview

I got this college through merit and along with an interview. I wanted mechatronics as my core branch and hence I choose this college and also this is one of the few colleges which has mechatronics as a core branch. The infrastructure of the college is extremely good and the teaching also.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college does provide internships, but its not a long-term internship based on stipends. Most of the internships are short-term based, which are very good and the students get to know more and deep about the subject.

Placement Experience

5

Placements were excellent. there was a separate placement community group created with a COO officer to look after. many students were hired to a different company in the last year. Companies like SPAN, Birla soft, bosh, Siemens, Honey well, etc. They were offering nearly 2.5 to 3 for some people and for some nearly 4. Next year, I have heard that there will be more than this in their campus selection and many more companies are yet to join.

College Events

5

We have a great well known, Cultural Festival like SENTIA which brings all colleges in South Canara and also college listed under Mysore category in CET. This includes routine involvement of any famous POP, Folk or any other group performing. We have a rain dance which always gives boys and girls time to cheer up and thereby ending the festival always in grand. Tech festivals were also included like Code, HACATHON, smartathon etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fee structure is 1.15 lakh per year as I had entered through merit quota and the normal management fee is around 1.75 lakhs for my branch. Cet students have to pay something around 75-80thousand per year. The fee is completely worth and feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship was provided to many students. And many students were having loan facility done to cover up their education.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is awesome, and Gender ratio and diversity would not be a big question when you are here to make friends and then learn and enjoy your every step of Graduation. Sports even were annually held. Culture festivals include debates, skits, dance, Music, completion between colleges, inter-college fest, and debates were held in the month of April.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostels are extremely good. We have around 4 huge hostel buildings for boys and 4 buildings for girls as well.Hostel has all the facilities which include an attached bathroom. Every hostel has separate rooms allocated as a study room and has a good study atmosphere. The mess food was not soo good in the beginning, but now it's in the phase of evolution. It's getting better each day by day. The mess fee is also affordable.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, alumni group is active only when there are some functions. We would send them an invite. They are extremely helpful and active.

Exam Structure

Although yes, we have exams and labs very frequently, this made us get used it too. at the end of the day, we were normal when facing a semester examination. Regular labs and exams thereby increase our positiveness in taking up the exams and increased our confidence.

Admission

The admission was quite simple. My mark list was checked and verified, as I had marks above 90% I got the seat by merit list and followed by an interview by the chairman of the college. Then I had a chance to visit the college and to get to know about all the things which were provided by staff from the college itself.

Faculty

5

Faculty of our college although there were many graduates who had completed B.E and were teaching us, there were many professors who had experienced more than 10 years to guide them. So teaching was always kept to mark and thereby guiding the students where ever individual is lagging. The faculties take great for the students and maintain a healthy relationship with the students.

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
