Mess food is not good especially vegetables

Course Curriculum Overview

I was fond of computers and electronics so I chose this course. Course curriculum present myself in real world Should be Better curriculum design and practically teaching There should be semester wise exam and moderate questions should be asked

My college is colleboration to These are companies to provide intership Like ibm, Deloitte, cognizant,naggaro, KPMG, Infosys, Genpact,grant Thornton etc I have no to which roles to offered under internship with how much stipend gives by company

As far as I know 6-7 sem students are eligible for placement In my college TCS,Wipro,zscaler,hero cycles,TVs, Infosys,hexawere, India Mart anviam etc are prime recruiter Highest package is year 11 lac Avarage is 4-5 lac Approximately 30-40% getting placed After degree my plan is taking job in well known company

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee should increase less amount with time, this is my perspective My four year course fees is 5 lac 90 thousand including tuition and hostel and except laundry fee and other expenses I have no ideal about scholships

Campus Life

fresher's party for freshers in my college. Technical festival like hackathon in the month of March All courses book available in library Sports like football, cricket, vollyball and other offered by college campus

Hostel Facilities

3 to 4 seater room are available in hostel Meal quality (lunch) is good for everyone and breakfast is good and Wednesday non veg provide by mess Online registration for hostel, if you pay your next semester payment then you will get room first

Admission

There are two ways to get admission, the best way is that you can reach the college through its website and you can contact and get admission and the second way is that you can go through a counselor. If you have 60% in 12th then you are eligible for batch cse

Faculty

Teaching quality is avarage but they don't no how to deliver lecture. There is no faculty student ratio.there is 1 teacher is provided over 50 students Mentorship is good but they will not help in money matters and other things I rarely talk to the teacher

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.
