Course Curriculum Overview :

The computer science course in our college is purely academic based and not skill based. This course contain subjects which are irrelevant to the computer science field. Exams are conducted quite often which is very hard to keep up.

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 146000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the NRI quota the students have to pay 72000 per semester without scholarship. If the student gets above 8.0 cgpa then he/she is eligible for the scholarship which reduces the fee in half.including hostel a nri student is subjected to pay 92k per semester.

Campus Life :

The infrastructure is basic with 2 building with 4 and 6 floors each. We have 2 cafes and one canteen inside the campus. Even though the art festival and technical festivals are less , it is conducted in a very professional manner.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility for boys is below par. Boys hostel have 5 floors and only the top 2 are well maintained. The bathrooms are cleaned frequently but not upto to the mark. The hostel food is very bad and frankly it's better to eat outside food.

Hostel Fee : INR 12500 per year

Admission :

To get seat in computer science department you need to get atleast a rank of min 6000 or below in keem exam. For all the other course you can get the admission for anything below 20000. Some seats are reserved for the obc.

Faculty :

The faculty is student friendly and has the education and standard for the job. They are well trained. Their professionalism and quality helps the student achieve their goals and dreams.overall the faculty is quite good and friendly.

Placement Experience:

Students can avail placenta from the 7th semester where a lot of companies are available. I don't know about the highest package but all of them are pretty decent. Most of the packages are IT and sales.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL.
