Remarks

College management is good in every field and the rules are strict inside the hostel campus. Overall a good four years of experience.

Entrance Preview

VITEE, I don't remember my score but I got a rank of 3000 and got the EEE branch. The entrance exam was on the easier side for me. It's one of the best colleges in India to have a low student-to-faculty ratio and at the same time the best infrastructure. The green campus of VIT will surely make you fall in love with it. The EEE branch has some very good faculties and good scope of research.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties of the EEE branch are very good. The laboratories of electrical machines and also of electronics devices and circuits is very good. You get to know in-depth about electrical machines there. The teachers are highly qualified. The elective method makes you all-rounder and also helps you in getting knowledge of other courses which are of your interests.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college does help in getting internships in colleges like IITs and also some big industries like Bhel, etc. The stipends vary from project to project.

Placement Experience

The placement of VIT, Vellore is superb. It's 100% placement at the campus. Some of the big companies are Amazon, Google, Facebook, Intel, Tata power, Delloite, etc. The highest package goes to 15Lacs +. The average package of core companies is 5.5 lacs and that of IT companies is 3.5 lacs.

College Events

There are many cultural and technical events held in college. The Riviera is the grand festival and is named as one of Indias best college festivals. You get to showcase your talent and at the same time at the same get to hear some of the best singers of Bollywood. Shankar Madhavan, Anushka Manchanda, Vishal Shekhar to name a few.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can easily get loans from banks for this college as you have 100% placement here. Scholarships are available to state-level toppers in the 12th exam and also to good rank holders in the entrance exam.

Campus Life

The gender ratio would be 1:3. Dorm parties though are not allowed. Plenty of workshops are held in every field of engineering. I myself won many robotics competitions. The debates are also held. You will find plenty of intra college competition too that will use your management skills also.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is enough. You can get single bedded and double, triple four bedded rooms too. You will get mess facility also inside the hostel. You will get basketball courts, badminton, tennis, volleyball courts also. The hostels are a bit expensive but it is worth

The Alumni network is very strong and regular email updates are sent to alumni. Regular alumni meet are held in India and outside India too. You will get after college guidance in getting a job.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
