I chose MSIT mainly because it is one of the better colleges under IPU and has a good reputation for placements and campus environment. During admission I applied for a few other IPU colleges as well but MSIT stood out because of its ranking and the fact that seniors also suggested it as one of the top choices after USICT. The admission process at MSIT is through IPU CET/JEE counselling. Once you get allotted MSIT in counselling, you have to report to the college with a long list of documents for verification. Honestly, it feels a bit hectic because they ask for almost everything JEE admit card, JEE result, registration slip, allotment letter, academic fee receipt, balance fee receipt, 10th and 12th marksheets, character certificate, caste certificate, medical certificate, and even multiple photographs. They also make you and your parents sign undertakings like anti-ragging and attendance.
