LPU basic campus review

The subjects taught are mostly relevant. In first year we were taught engineering mathematics, discrete mathematics, ECE, physics, CHE, software engineering, mechanical engineering, orientation subjects, etc which gave us a pretty good idea about our course.

The placement in our college is pretty good. Many companies like Google, Microsoft, Bosch, TCs, etc visit with good packages. The average package offered is 7 to 10 lakhs per annum. The placement rate is 95 percent. It depends on the person how higher he can achieve in a package.

The fee usually for core courses is 1,00,000 and for specialization is 120000. For those whose can't afford this amount or want a scholarship they have the option to opt for LPU Nest which gives scholarship for 50 percent depending on he courses. They give other aids too.

There are various clubs in our college from literary to dance clubs , from singing to coding clubs. There is no boredom in our campus life. Every few days great events are organised with the end of the year college fests , I.e., One India and One World. There will be no anti social life once in LPU.

We can opt for hostels that are 1 seater ,3 seater ,4 seater, 6 seater in standard ac rooms or apartments. I have opted for 4 seater and it is really great with all the basic amenities given. But the food given in the mess are not really that great. It's full of spices and oil that is a great drawback.

I gave the LPU nest and acquired a rank of 2305 with a scholarship of 30 percent which was maximum scholarship for my course. The application process was pretty simple. During admission and reporting too we didn't had to face any complications as it was a very ordered process.

The faculty members are highly qualified .They are really patient and gives time to each and every student. For every professor a class of minimun forty five students are given. Not only in studies they help you if you need them outside the classroom too.
