The faculties are very good and friendly they don't just teach but also guide throughout your college life. They are the gems
The ambiance is amazing of the college the hostels are amazing. I haven't experience a single ragging happening there
Placements are good .Every year top companies come here for placement so uf you work hard you will definitely placed

Dislikes

The mess food is good but a little bit spiciness in all the food which can effect the health
Study is all over very good but the student intake is a bit high here which increase the competition
They can schedule the semester a bit long time like in 4 months its tough to complete all the things

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum mainly based for 4 months. In mostly all the subjects have 3 ca s and in the middle of the sem there is midterm and then endterm all is good but as per my opinion they can expand the sem for like 5 to 6 months because there were lots of pressure for a student to complete the whole thing in the min span

Placement Experience

Every year the placements are very good average package is around 10 lpa and highest around 50 to 60 lpa. All the top companies come here for placement so no worried about the companies. Throughout your journey college help you to grow yourself technically and non technically

Fees and Financial Aid

The educational fee for btech is 1.2 lakh but as per your score in lpunest the scholarship applied to the fee and deduct it the 4 seater hostel fee is 90k, 3 seater is 1.05lakh 2 seater 1.15lakh and 1 seater is 1.5 lakh for the whole year and this for ac for non ac deduct 10k and meal are 35 to 50k around price as per your time of choice.

Campus Life

There is a dsw called student welfare wings so they perform in many social events they conduct many events drama dance poetry anything if you have you can join them and even if you don't have they will teach you if you want and there are many dj nights happening in college which are very enjoyable

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very good laundry saloon study room all facilities are there you will feel like home in there. The wardens of there are very friendly so no need to afraid if you have doubt on something they will help you and the most important thing is there are no ragging happens in the hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

There is a exam of lpu called lpunest. The total score is 400 there are 3 cutoffs cutoff 3 get more scholarship in there total fee. So you can go to lpu's official website and then check all the details of them. This exam happens 3 times in a year.

Faculty

Teachers are amazing here you can reach out to there in any time of the week except sunday, they are not just faculty but guide of yourself thoroughout the college life. They inspire help and motivate you all the time. As the students number is so high that's why there are lots of teachers in the university

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events
infrastructure is not that good , as they were should on the online it is dii
Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
