Placement creatria, like you have to be scored 60% in 10th, 12th for most of the company.

Basically the main role for interns like.. Full stack development, web development, and front end development, backed development, these are the most common role for intern's. They just provide some project and you just have to complete, that task is defenatly related to your field.

From last year or 1 sem before from last year placement going to be started. There are multiple companies come to visit campus for placement like_ tcs, wipro, imfosis, accentre any many more and also some product based companies used to visit for placement are Amazon, Flipkart, paytm, Ola, etc. & if I'm talking about placement percentage it goes around 70-80%.

Fees and Financial Aid

In belhaf of fee there are big NO from my side, college fee is too high as compare to another college in Dehradun, As pr my opinion fee is too high, and yaa there are scholarships also available for students who are really great in academic Career.

Campus Life

Really a great environment here, great technical festivals like graphthon, many more coding compatation and if any student doing well than student get good price poll.. Rather than this there are also annual festival like grafest.

Admission

Eligiblity creatria is like that, for Batchelor degree (b. tech) in 12 th you have to be 70% marks, and for (B. C. A) you have to be 60%marks in 12th. And yaa there are also a enterence exam for academic scholarship.

Faculty

Yaa, faculty is really great & humble behiever, they help a lot if student want to learn something new or like if students are doing well they helps student to do something good, and the thing is they all have good experience of teaching.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies who visit our college for placements also many companies offers great package 14,00,000 which is good for students who want to start their career in software industry. I remember some companies like josh technologies, jf knowledge centre, relaxo, decatholon etc. Every week there are 2-3 companies who comes for placements. In our college the highest package was 44,00,000 of a b.tech student. Average package was 5,00,000. the percentage was 30% students getting placed every year. My plans after this degree is that i want to get a secure job in It sector.

My first and experience of college

Placement Experience:

The placements over here, have a clear cut criteria from the college and the percentage for getting your placement. Cell is like above 75%. You cannot sit below 75% on the placement cell. Also, you have to clear all your backlogs, and there are various companies that offers the internships and also the placements to the universities. There is Microsoft Adobe, many more big companies that do come to the college for placements and internships. also, the placements provided by these companies are also good with the salaries and incentives they provide for the contract, so it was also the main reason that I choose this college

Remarks:

You'll get the fundamental pleasantries however don't keep your expectations high. There is uniform in the grounds with the exception of Wednesday. My group possibly the last bunch with full time uniform so that is up in the air. The library has grown up quickly. For the underlying year you'll get books which you can peruse however later on the correct reading material are not given by the library. You have to approach the instructor's for PDFs, PPTs and so forth. Workstation is must for making due here in UPES. You have to experience some futile online courses with week by week assignments. In the event that you are remaining in bidholi, at that point transport accommodation for late night won't be available.

About My College Expereince

Remarks:

Positive comment about college is the best faculty and environment for studies. The negative remark is that a much better can be done for job placements and internships provided by the college. Till now it is not up to its best. If it will get improved more students will get a chance to prove themselves. And some big MNC must be called for internships and company placements.

I applied at LPU, SIT and DTU and had confirmed admission from everywhete and still i chose to stay with GEU as I saw placements in 2023-24 season and they were mind blowing. No rejection as GEU was my choice of College. I though gave that just for fun as it was decided long back that I will take admission in GEU. GEU is a dream University!

At GEU, and specifically for our course there are no hiccups or issues as we gets admission directly. Also, on the basis of our PCM as those subjects are mandatory to enroll in our course. In most cases it is direct but University also has its own entrance exam as well. Even other entrance scores are evaluated and based on that scholarships are also provides.
