- I am really impressed by the flexibility this college offers you can be a housewife or a businessman while studying in IGNOU. It offers admission twice an year in January and June.
- Cost friendly , u can be paying the amount of semester of another college and you'll be getting whole one year course in that amount here , comparatively cheap than other colleges.
- Relocation , you can easily change your centres of exams by visiting the study center once .
Dislikes
- No social life , you'll not be getting any interaction with people , teachers or students.
- Ignou has the worst exam scheduling power , it can easily cancel your exams the day before the exam in which students face a lot of trouble , sometimes they end up missing their exams
- No practical knowledge , IGNOU doesn't provide seminars/events , you can only be given the option of self study .
Course Curriculum Overview
I was unable to meet the fee/cost of other colleges which forced me to take admission into this pocket friendly college . This was my reason to take admission in this course and I m also preparing for competition exam (CAT) so it's the best in this case The curriculum made us introverts and a human with no social interaction. They can improve by providing study materials on time , they should start taking the classes atleast Saturday Sunday of every weak , they should give students internship and placement opportunities. The frequency and timings are quite better. You can easily complete your exam within the given time .
Fees and Financial Aid
I am enrolled in BBA with the fee of Rs.10500 annually excluding exam fee of rs.200 per subject (theory) and rs.300 per subject ( practical).I have 8 subject theory so my fees was Rs.1600 I m not familiar with scholarships provided here except for PhD (rs.8000) They don't provide things like campus employment, job roles , responsibilities or stipends , they don't provide social interaction as I've told u earlier.
Campus Life
Our college IGNOU doesn't provide any social life or practical knowledge , you'll only be given the datesheet one month before examination and you've to pass the examination . Neither do they take classes nor organise events/festivals.
Admission
The admission process in IGNOU is held online in the month on January and June every year. U can register online and pay your course fee. You'll be given all the details about your course when you'll register on the official website of IGNOU. I don't think they provide any reservation benefits. They provide a good time according to difficulty of exams. They can conduct entrance exams for each and every course to atleast make us feel worthy of admission in the college.
Faculty
The faculty here , we are not familiar with them actually because we don't get the chance of social interaction and practical knowledge. We are only been added to a group of our respective batches where teachers are completely mute , you'll not be getting any information by them , they don't put efforts in teaching or providing u the study materials, they are completely unbothered. The faculty to student ratio according to me is 4:40.
