I got this college according to my rank in JEE Mains exam. Admission process was nice as first i had got the NSUT DWARka with the same branch but after the second round of counselling i got admission in this College as I had put DTU above the NSUT in the preference list. Only JEE Mains is accepted for B.Tech courses in DTU. So talking about the admission process we have to first clear the JEE Mains examination and after that we have to do counselling through JAC Delhi in which we have to choose a preference and make a list of colleges with preferred branch and submit it in the JAC Portal and after several rounds of college allotment process whch takes 1 to 2 months we get the college according to out JEE Mains rank and preferene list than we have to go to the college aloted to use Physically for the document verification , one the verification is done our admission is confirmed in the college and we get admission letter and are able to attend the college from the starting of session....Read More

Admission in DTU are through CUET scores. So, CUET is what helps us get here because the quota and all are fair here and thus one has to be absolute gun to get admission here. I had 650 kind of score and that is enough for a general student to get admission here....Read More

Besides DTU's emphasis on a positive social environment through organised activities within the College, it was also attractive to me because of its national and international reputation. While I applied for the same course at DU and IPU, DU had a very high level of competition for BA Economics (Hons) because of its extremely high CUET cut-off. As a result of this intense competition and CUET cut-offs at DU, I was unable to get into any of the DU Economics Programs I wanted. I was interested in two of the IPU Colleges that had degrees in Economics and decided DTU was a better option because of the academic environment and long-term value it offered. When I compared the colleges affiliated with IPU to those affiliated with DTU, I found that DTU had a large centralised campus with better facilities, more active student societies, and a greater level of recognition. The fact that USME is able to take an interdisciplinary approach to combine Economics with a management perspective had a notable impact on my decision to attend DTU. In my experience at DTU, the entire admissions process was extremely straightforward and based on merit. To qualify for BA Economics (Hons), applicants need to have Mathematics as a Compulsory Subject and Language AND 2 Main Subjects in 12th Class to Qualify. In addition to being one of the preferred examinations for this course, the admissions for BA Economics (Hons) at DTU were done through CUET-UG. Each year, the CUET cut-off will be different depending on your test score, your category, and the amount of competition for seats in your chosen College.
