Likes

Placements are good. More opportunities to get on campus placement
Good faculty members and hostel facility is also available
The fees is less as compared to other colleges it's around 1.1 lakh per year if you are from OPEN category

Dislikes

Attendance is very important here. You have to maintain good attendance
Location is far from Pune..i.e approx 20km from Pune.
You don't have much options to eat here. It's location is very out of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is autonomous. They don't provide you question bank though. Sometimes the mid semester exam has two paper on one day which becomes a lot hectic. You have to behave good with all the teachers to ensure better marks in your result

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are present from 3rd year of college. Most of the students get opportunities for good internship from ENTC CSBS IT CS dept. Companies like Airtel, PTC, tcs,veritas etc visit the campus

Placement Experience

On campus placement are available. Good companies offer placement here. If you are from CS, IT, ENTC, CSBS dept then you will get 100% placement. For other departments you need to work on yourself to be placed. Companies do come but opt for less number of students for other departments

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees changes every year. For open its around 1 lakh 8 thousand, for obc it's 60k and jammu kashmir students it's 25k The fees is very less as compared to other colleges in Pune. You have job opportunities more here as Hinjewadi is near to this college. On campus placements are there every year.

Campus Life

Clubs are available. Every year you gave great grand fest where you can participate and show your talent. Multiple activities and events are there. College life becomes little frustrating due to more priority to attendance by faculty members Sports are not much encouraged here All type of student clubs are present approx 60 clubs are there

Hostel Facilities

Yes hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. For hostel the charge is 40k per year. No single or double rooms. You have to share room with 3. Hostels aren't that great but an affordable options and safety is present

Hostel Fee: INR 40200 per year

Admission

For computer science you need to have 95 percentile for open category student atleast on MHTCET You can also take admission through JEE. Admission process is similar for all colleges it's easy and they'll guide you in the admission process also

Faculty

The faculty members are well educated and teach well and also look after your semester wise improvement. They give you better advices and give opportunity to those who perform well academically and technically

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
