Likes

Our college have best placements I heard in this area
All needs are available in the college itself but some are costly
Classes are made good and big also so that everyone can see the board

Dislikes

Classes are in different blocks so we have to travel from one side to another after every class
Some teachers are rude and bematlab ki khundak nikalte hai and deduct marks in evaluations
They have made a business of taking papers again and asking for money

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good and have a value in demand also but the negative point is that there are many students like 2300 in our course so everyone could not get placed but overall if we study well the course is easy and good

I have cleared my first year so I don't know about internships but I have heard there are many opportunities of internships also in our college but some students get only according to their potential but few are left

The placement rate of our college is good if we compare to another colleges but the student rate is very high in cse department so every student can't get placement but all companies visit our college and give package according to their potential

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is very high some people can't afford like in cgc it is something 65000 per sem but in our college 100000 per sem and bus fees separate around 40000 which will increase every year so somewhere fees is very high

Campus Life

The campus is good and big also there are much places to sit in free time and spend time with friends the canteen is also big and at different places like we have barista ,subway, dominos,la pinos etc in our college

Admission

The admission process was simple first we have to fill a form and then there was counciling in chitkara school not in university and there the admission was done but lot of time was spent there as there were many students

Faculty

Some teachers are good and they are understandable also but some are really very rude without any fault they deduct marks which becomes no sense and they don't know how to teach also they only give homework

Interview Experience

Currently i am in second year so i have a little knowledge about it only.In interview they ask DSA,OOPS,DBMS,CN,OS and some more but these are the main topics they ask from.You can prepare these from many youtube channels like takeuforward,college wallah,gate smashers and many more.

Amazing

Placement Experience:

For 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements 60% of students are placed. I am placed in college duniya . In my college the highest package is 50 lakhs and average is 10 lakh. After degree i am planning to join corporate and get experinece in company.

PEC from a student's lens

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are overall decent. Some students usually the top 10 percenrt students get high packages north of 15 lakhs and some even get 35-70 lakhs. but this number is very small and most students get around 4-10 lpa. around 60 to 70 percent students get placed combining on and off campus placements.

Ground Reality

Course Curriculum Overview:

The whole curriculum focuses on the cramming power, not on the practical knowledge. Students have to do the tech stack on their own for the placements. Students must do the internship so that he/she will gain some practical knowledge and a chance to gain hands-on experience.

CHITKARA - NEW LIFE BEGINNING

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chitkara University are decent for CSE AI ML. Students are allowed to sit for campus drive from about 7th sem. Many tech and service firms visit like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and some product firms too. Offer count is good for CSE branch each year. Avg package is near 4 to 6 LPA for most roles, and top package can go much higher for select students in dev and AI roles. Around 70 to 80 percent students get some offer if they meet skill and marks rules. The place cell gives test prep, mock talk, and resume help. After my degree, my plan is to get a dev or AI role first, then grow skills and later move to a higher tech role or MS study.

EXPLORING MY POTENTIAL

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester (3rd year) onwards, and internships often start from the same time. The placement season runs in the final year with companies visiting from October to March. Big companies like Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Microsoft and Oracle come for drives, and many smaller firms also hire. Highest packages reported recently are up to ?1.11 crore (mainly from Amazon), and average packages across engineering are around ?8–10 lakh per annum. Placement percentage is pretty high (80–95%) if a student actively participates and prepares well. Many students get placed on Day 1 itself during drives. Most offers are in software development, IT, data roles, consulting and product teams. Top companies also give super dream offers (10 LPA+) to a good chunk of students. In short: campus placements are strong for CSE/AI-ML if I prepare well. The support from the placement cell helps with training and interview prep, but final results still depend largely on my skills.

Students is eligible for campus placement is in 6 sem Name of companies I can't write as theres many but few are walmart , neilson , accenture etc Highest package is 48 lakhs I guess by GoDaddy 2021 batch students 90 percent were placed 2022 batch students 75 percent were placed rest I don't have idea

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
