College management is good but fee here is too high.

This is the best last option for me, as the environment here is great and due to great discipline, I opted UPES as my college for engineering. Also, the teacher here is good as compared to other colleges. But I drawback here is that fee here is too high, otherwise college is great

The course curriculum here is good as students here are well disciplined. As I'm studying in automotive design Engineering, so the course they have provided in my course is good enough. And teacher here is also too supported, hence making course curriculum great.

Yes, my college does provide an internship but not to all students. They are providing internship to a mechanical student in the marketing field, which is not good.

Placement of computer science branches are great, but in branches other than computer science, the scenario is opposite, placement is not there, mechanical engineer getting placed in a marketing company which is too bad for the students and as well as for college

We've 2 types of events. One is uurja. Uurja is our cultural fest in which there is dance, singing, fun events, celebrity performance, DJ etc It was full of fun It is of 2 days Second is ignite Ignite is our technical fest in which we've to show our technical skills and we can win prizes

This I must say, the fee structure of UPES is way-way too high, it is one of the most expensive colleges in India. The average fee in an Indian College is around 70k/semester but at UPES, you've to pay 1.50+Lakhs/semester, this is a huge amount and I must say, for a student like me, coming from average family is too difficult.

The scholarship is offered to the students scoring above 90% in CBSE boards and in college, you've to be in top 5 students of the college to avail scholarship.

Campus life here is normal as we've to attend too many classes so we're not that much involved in campus life, the gender ratio is also not that much good because on an average we've 10:1, a number of boys in our college are way too much than girls in our college.

The hostel here is too good, well disciplined and is present on campus. The food quality is normal, not too much good but above average than other hostels. We've grills on the balcony so that no one can jump(in worst cases) and a hostel is in campus, no alcohol is allowed.

We are connected on social media with the alumni. But sometimes our college organizes alumnae meat so that we can interact with our seniors.

Our college decided the 100% in 3 ways 1st is mid-sem-Your 20% of mid sem will be added in your final marks 2nd is internal-Your 30% will be added by your respective teacher 3rd- is end sem-Your 50% of end sem is added in your final marks. This how our college calculates our makes

First I had given JEE PRE and UPSEAT exam by which I got 565 ranks in UPSEAT. Then the counseling process was there in which rank wise we have to select our branch (in which we want to study) and accordingly admission process was taking place. It was nice and well managed.

The faculty here are of two types, one which is very helpful and with a good attitude, second is the worse kind, they keep demotivating us, put unwanted backlogs, not giving well deserving marks. So we've both kinds of faculties. The teachers which help students like me are great and we have this kind of teachers here
