What Students Say
Likes
- The central Library I liked the most because it was too big and well maintained infrastructure above other universities
Dislikes
- The classrooms needs some improvement. As we are an IT student so a fast wifi available everywhere and also charging ports in the classrooms
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was made in such a way that it included all the essential subjects of the IT sector (such as DBMS, NETWORKING, SECURITY, PROGRAMING and etc.) There were semester exams, internal tests, and viva with practicals. But every course should be given extra time so that the student can cope up with the subject.
Internships Opportunities
We got internships within the college itself i.e., the term paper and the major project. The results are examined by the externals and they give the best advice to advance your project and achieve growth. I made three projects through my BCA which was a part of the internship.
Placement Experience
For a student to be eligible to sit for placements in Amity University, they have to score a CGPA above 6. The average package here is 500000 approx and the highest package in BCA was 1100000. Companies like Accenture, HCL, TCS, and much more reputated came.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees was 400000 which was low compared to the main campus and it also provided the amenities justifying the overall academic fees. No other extra charges were taken from us. I was a scholarship holder and it was true that if you will maintain a good CGPA then they will provide you the scholarship as per the criteria.
Campus Life
The university has a supportive ecosystem and the exposure it gives to the students is worth it. The central Library is all the time available and is fully centralized just like the campus. Indoor and outdoor both sports activities were excellent as they provided all the amenities to play the respective sport. Clubs were also there like technovation, unnati, skit, dance and so on. All worked towards their respective goals.
Admission
There was no admission test Or any other type of interview but I chose this college because it was in my hometown and is well known for its placements. The amount of exposure that they give to students is commendable.
Faculty
The faculty here is well educated and very cooperative towards your goal. Some teachers feel like family and make the environment very friendly. Teacher to student ratio is 1:4 so it is a good ratio. They also work hard towards your placements and you can interact with them anytime by going into the faculty room.
