Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is a bit obsolete . I think it should be revised and inclucate new emerging technologies as well. The teaching way also needs to be changed to make it a more practical and full of real-life examples.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible to do an internship from 6th semester onwards. Daffodils, Veracy Consultin, Airtel Bharti mainly come for placements. Highest package from college was 5.5 Lpa by Daffodils for role of software developer. Only 8-10 students were placed this year. You have to find your job through off campus opportunites.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, Scholarships are available in a vast variety. Do not think that now you are in college and you dont need to study now, if you study well , there is a whole lot of scholarships waiting for you .There a very few opportunities for employment here. You have to take charge of your employment all by yourself.
Campus Life
There are a variety of fests, that too at a big level. You can see fests such as- Talent Hunt, Uiet Unifest, Flower festival, Rang Bahar, Holi festival, Diwali Mela and many more activities. The college is best in haryana for sports facilities and activites mentorship. So many famous personalities of sports are an alumini of MDU Rohtak.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are the best facility that make you choose MDU over any other college in haryana. They are so spacious and clean, food is also good. Registration is done every year . You have to change your hostel every year.
Admission
The admission is through Haryana counselling on the basis of your rank in JEE. you have to wait for the haryana counselling declaration date, then to lock a seat you have to submit an amount of 10,000. Then you will get a call for confirmation of your seat. If you are from a reserved category , you have high chances of getting a seat. There are two sessional exams conducted and 1 semester exam. The sessionals are of easy level , but the semester exams are not a calk walk, you have to study for them atleast 3-4 days earlier to it. T he management of the admission process is quite slow, you need to have a lot of patience
Faculty
Most of the teachers are very supportive and help you achieve your goals. But the thing is you have to approach them- you cannot expect them to initiate things on thier own for you. Most of them pick calls and even call back to answer your doubts.
