Likes

Teaching staff is very professional and nice here. They take studies seriously not like any other engineering college.

Dislikes

The hostel facility like water and electricity services are poor
No transport services in campus area or outside of campus
The campus is located on highway so it is very deserted area not eacb and every facility is available here

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum consists of each and every thing related to computer science and they increase the level gradually semester wise. The frequency of exams is 2 times every 5 months and difficulty level is intermediate to advanced.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

So i have been offered 2-3 interniships during my tome. You have to work hard for the opportunities provided by college . Because at the end skills do matter alot. You will start getting internship opportunities from 3 year.

Placement Experience

From 7 semester placement training and season hets started . But internships start from 5 semester . College provides opportunities and on an average 70-80% students get placed. My plan is to go for MBA further

Fees and Financial Aid

There are financial aids available on the basis of your VITEEE rank and marks in 12 th boards. College tution fees in 1st category for btech is 198000 per year which is good for a private Engineering colleges (if i compare to others)

Campus Life

So the club involvement is very nice here you get ro interact with students from all over India. I have been personally in many clubs and i enjoyed each and every event The fests are the main thing to enjoy.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is i would mot say very good but pretty decent other than some small issues like water shortage but the food and rooms are pretty good and nice. Specially the new hostels are very nice and comfortable to stay washrooms are clean .

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

So my selection was based on VITEEE exam which is the entrance exam for all VIT . The allotment is based on your rank in exam which is not very difficult to get a good rank if you are already preparing for JEE

Faculty

So the teachers here are quite supportive here(exceptions are always there). Attendance method is strict here . You can clear all your doubts bu visiting there cabins and maximum of them will help you out with each scenario of there subject. Some faculties are very nice they provide good support emotionally also .

start or 7 th sem student get eligible for placement. tcs, acccenture , wipro , capgemini , cognizant , epam and many more. highest package was 1.12 cr and the average package are 4 lpa. aproxx 70 to 75 percent student are geeting placed in every year. my plans to get a job .

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

Placement Experience:

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

Whether you should join VIT bhopal or not

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More

Couldn't get much percentile in JEE to get a GOOD gov colleges otherwise could have got IIITs and a few NITs.
