Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is good you need to select one subject apart from your course such as entrepreneurship development, yoga classes is mandatory in the first year also there are many things apart from academics that you can enjoy.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I have not done internship from the college i did off campus the internship opportunity is not good in kiit so i dont have much idea about internship though you can get unpaid internships not much companies are there for internship

Placement Experience

3.5

You are eligible for placement from the 5th semester and there are many companies that visit such as tcs, wipro, infosys, EY, etc. highest package is around 50 lakhs(I'm not sure but according to the report) average package is 5-6lpa, my plan is to do MBA after my degree but before that I'll be working for 2 years for experience

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is minimal but the hostel fee is too much if you're opting for a 3seater non ac hostel it'll cost around 28,000 per semester and mess fee is 22,500 per semester also the semester is not 6 months long it is 4 months ling only, so it is a little expensive. There are merit based scholarships based on entrance exams.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many things to do, there are so many fests, clubs, committee you can join, the library is of 6 floor there are thousands of book go read, there are swimming pools, gym, football grounds, etc. if you want to do any activities you can register for it

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is okayish, though it is strict the IN-TIME is 6:30 for 1st year and 7 for 2nd year so you need to comply with the rules, the menu is good, the taste of food is average, if you want to register for hostel you'll get an email after your admission you need to fill it out

Admission

The eligibility for B.Tech is you should be having minimum 60% in your 12th and then you need to appear for KIITEE there are 5 phases in KIITEE you can give any time and the application form is free of cost, after admission is confirmed you need to pay 75,000(one time admission fee) in which you'll get a laptop (good one).

Faculty

4

Some of the faculty are extremely good and some are not, it depends but you can go to the teacher for doubts also if you want to study effectively you can go to the library, some of the faculty are very approachable also all the faculty is willing to solve your doubts so I'll give it 8/10

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Most of people go for PHDs and research after this course so the number of placements is a little less. Also, this unique Integrated Mtech course is new and the first batch of this 5 year course soon will be passed out. They are getting placement offers of 8-8.5 LPA per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Padmanava College of engineering is coming under Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT , odisha). As there is always a myth about private colleges that they help in cheating but from my experience padmanava College is strictly against cheating and rather it supports quality of education. If you are a hard working student you will pass the exam very easily.
