Likes

Good education, good faculty, good campus
The quality of infrastructure including campus amenities and learning facilities is good
Social environment for the students is also good

Environment outside the campus is not heathy

Course Curriculum Overview

I really like the geography department as it periodically conduct practicals to get best of the education, also the political science department is good enough to interact with students, also the debate conducted by political science department contributes in getting the best personalities

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In first year tuition fees is high as 9000, but in 2nd year it go down and third year it again go down The total fees of bachelor of arts is (9000+7000+6000) as per year 2019 Also, student get a scholarship provided by government of uttar pradesh (for up students)

Campus Life

There were annual fest conducted by the college and the fresher party and farewell party conducted by the students regularly for every year. Student sometimes also run social group to aware the people around the campus. There were NCC campus and other Sports like cricket football and badminton etc.

Admission

In year 2019 exams was conducted by college itself, but now student get selected through CUET exam. This college is affiliated to Allahabad University ,entrance exam difficulty level is okay not much tough not much easy.

Faculty

Faculty to Student ratio is okay and of course it contributes in students learning experience , the faculty's potential and their approach towards the students and teaching is awesome and every student can interact with teachers whenever they want

Course Curriculum Overview:

i have always shown interest in psychology and this was a force which pulled me here to study psychology. i would suggest some aspects of improvement like more real life study instead of just learning stuffs from the book. real life experinces and situations makes a student to connect and understand those topic more clearly. practical subject examination are of about 50 marks 2 papers and non practical subject of 70 marks 2 set of paoer each. i have also given an internal examination of around 25 marks for pract and 30 for non pract 1hr exam. sem exam of 2 hr each paper

College review of AMPG BHU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i was always inclined towards economics as a subject as well as real life application of it. The specific aspects of curriculum which influenced my decision of choosing this course were the integrated syllabus and practical knowledge being imparted in this. It helps me to analyse data and understand real world problem from a broader horizon which wouldn't have been possible otherwise. Even though there isnt any improvement needed since the faculty itself is extremely focused as to impart the best of their knowledge to us and is very well trained and supportive. The frequency of the exams is twice a year(2 set of semester exams and 2 sets of sessional exams within each year) timing of the exam is 2.5 hour for semester exam of each subject and 1 hour for sessional which are of 70 marks and 30 marks respectively. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate, if a student attends regular classes they would easily qualify the exams with a good grade and CGPA.

I was an arts student so definitely i would choose to do BA course and up college is the best known college according to me and also it is near my home. I had choose thus curriculum as i love to study BA subjects like political science it takes me to understand the reality of todays political system. Teachings are very good i must say teachers go through every topic and explain it very well. Timing of exams are 2 hour and i think it is enough .

This course is very useful for me in civil services examination because Optional subject remains important in Upsc examination and if u are already pursuing a degree in a subject which will be your optional in civil services examination then it will be great choice of yours . curriculum prepares me so well.
