Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I would rate the curriculum a solid three out of five as it lacks practicality alot. The curriculum needs to be amended and include important aspects nd not just the basics . Also the exam thing drains you out totally because University can never take exam on one decided scheme

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The college provides several internship opportunities starting from the 1st semester onwards . In different NGOs , government organisations like NCPCR, NALSA , state legal authorities, law firms , judicial internship, etc.

Placement Experience

2

After the 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements Highest package was of 14 lakhs and average is around 5 lakhs Percentage rate of placement is relatively low After getting the degree I would be giving the BCI exam and would practice in a court

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee for my course is - 2,30,000 There are several categories through which scholarship is provided in 1st year like based on 12th marks , clat marks , and then other basis like beti padhao , beti bachao and then Kashmiri pandits , etc upto 50%

Campus Life

3

There are several academic and cultural fest that happens , academic fest includes debate, Ted talks and debate competitions , cultural fest named catalyst has happened only twice till now which happens in month of feb-march . And then intra sports fest is also conducted. Only books recommend in course is available in Library.

Admission

Everyone is eligible for the course after they have completed and passed their 12th grade The application form can be found online on the website through which you will get mails and everything and then you have to give a PI and if you pass (everybody does) you will get an admission in this college and during the period several college administration will help you

Faculty

4.5

Faculty to student ratio is good , we have more than enough faculty for each subject Teachers are always approachable and we can interact with them at any time given Teachers have the mindset to give us practical knowledge as far as possible

Interview Experience

2

I was having more than 90% in my 12th boards exam so i didn't have to give any written test or personal interview, but yes there is a procedure of PI for getting admission into this college , where they ask basic and normal questions

No companies as here only lawyers of arbitration and other domains come to hire students. Most students though have PPO from their interning companies but not real 10-20 LPA placements for Galgotias and that i wish change because our university academics and the kind of learning that is provided is at par with that of NLUs.

Placement Experience:

Packages aren't as good or big as NLUs as 4-5 lakhs is median and just 25% students gets placements from University. Most students though go for litigation and I am also going to do the same as this is how I want to build my career and take it forward. Even LLM is also an option and GLA University is the one from where I will do, if I plan to do masters.

In BA. LL.B. especially students are elidgible from 5th year i.e. 9TH semester for college placements, the college has a 99 % placement rate which is very impressive and students are given a vast number of choices among the companies. The companies which recruit are usually top tier like Mahindra, Wipro etc. The highest ever package in our college is 50 LPA. I am planning to do corporate law after the completion of my degree for which the college also has a corporate resource department.

As I'm studying BALLB and the teaching method in our college is pretty nice as they conduct field visits, courts visits and also invites different personalities who Excel in the law field that helps us to understand how the real world works in this field and I really thinks that this college should more focus on their class overall timings sometimes they got really lengthy every year our university conduct 2 exams separately for every semester. and the difficulty level depends on the students preps

Yes they do provide campus placement last year only almost 70 students were offered jobs in campus placement. But in our case most of the students have their own plans like the majority of them are generational lawyers so either they'll join their firms or they have very good contacts so they'll get places easily but in my case as a first generation lawyer we do get internship or assessment internship in which we get very good chances to get PPO they we don't have to relay on college for campus placement. In my case if i didn't get campus placement then wherever I've done my internship I'll try to convert my internship into a PPO
