Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is based upon the CBME curriculum as provided by NMC The lecture schedule is given well in advance so that the students can prepare accordingly Areas of improvement and teaching methods involve more focus on clinical learning although it's already quite extensive here

Class Size: 170Course Fees: INR 30750 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is one year compulsory rotatory internship to be done which is paid. After completion of internship the degree for batchelor of medicine and batchelor of surgery is provided Internship makes sure that one is a good qualified doctor after the end of internship

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee for MBBS Rs.30,750/- at the time of admission Rs.25,750/- for subsequent years Rs.25,000 /- towards Internship fee Several scholarships are available for economically weaker students and category students too

Annual fest- ripple Library with a reading room that is accessible 24 X7 Classes are well equipped with projectors and AC's Student run societies are there which provides enough exposure to students to Excel in fields other than academics too

Admission

Admission process was smooth, based upon the counselling done by MCC , it was hassle free as everything was online and only reporting was to be done here with verification of the documents. Students are admitted annually through NEET examination

Faculty student ratio in small posting batches is arround 1:10 And in lectures it's 1:170 There are enough number of facilities, having experience and expertise in their field And they are approachable as well

A nice yet small college in delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum recently updated by NMC is mainly based on how we will deal with a real life situation and focused mainly on diseases which are prevailing in India . The teaching method should be on a blackboard rather than reading a PPT which no one can understand . There should be weekly exams for all the subjects with focus on NEET PG mainly MCQ type.

It is one of the top medical colleges in the country and is situated in central Delhi it has the best location among all the medical colleges in Delhi. All the faculty here are the best in their fields and are very dedicated. My college: A divine place

Placement Experience:

In medical colleges, the term placement is not suitable. After doing the MBBS we have to give the NEET PG exam and according to the rank in this exam we get we specialize stream. The students from my college get seats in the very prestigious AIIMS Delhi, Maulana Azad, and many other prestigious colleges. Every year out of 170, 130 to 140 students are selected.

Mixed feeling abt college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is my dream, and this college makes it more interesting. This course will give u both name and fame. The satisfaction after saving someone's life is beyond expectation, and it's difficult so challenges me more and I like to face challenges. Every department has professors, associate professors, senior residents, and postgraduate students, the ratio of faculty students is quite good, and all the faculties are always ready to help and support U in any situation. Every faculty is highly qualified, even though some of them hold more than 5-6 degrees, and every professor has more than 10 yrs of teaching experience, and that too in a prestigious organization. I'm blessed to have such an awesome faculty. MBBS and exams a never-ending love story, Nearly at an interval every 3 months, we have an exam, and they are really tough. Viva after every unit, competency, small group discussions, self-directed learning, stage vivas, spotting exams. But these exams are a must if u want to become better.

Some details about vmmc

Placement Experience:

After the internship I.e. after mbbs one usually applies for post-graduation. Since vmmc comes under IP university so you will get an internal quota. But yes can join any hospital and start practicing. Talking about me I will most probably pursue post-graduation from vmmc only. Here, we have one of the highest stipends all over India during pg.

In short overall it is a great experience.

I have chosen this college because 1st in my rank I, was not getting MAMC which is the best college in Delhi which we get through the NEET exam. So next options that were left for me was LHMC, VMMC, etc and I was a bit confuse between UCMS, LHMC, and VMMC so I talk with many people and I start to rule out my choices I didn't choose VMMC because Islam the subsidized seats are over and second I want DU university tag, then I was left with LHMC and UCMC, so I decided to visit these colleges and I also search on QUORA for reviews which had played a major role in choosing my college, when I visited both the college I was so amazed at the campus of UCMS, which was so huge, so green and also it is also CO-ED college and also through QUORA I came to know it is best for research which is true, I had searched the top rankings of DELHI college on many sites like career 360, etc. This is the best decision I have ever made, the academics are so good here, but the main disadvantage is very far from my home....Read More
