I have been applied for st Xavier's college ranchi and after clearing my entrance exam i have confirmed my addmission there . The main reason for choosing this college because of the vocational courses which they provide , no other colleges in ranchi provide this course . I had heard many suggestions that this college is great and personally my sister graduated from the same college. I had gotten acceptance from parul, hl college, and a few other colleges too. But this one is cheaper and has a more prominent name than other colleges in terms of placement and other aspects. I had applied to Fergusson college in Pune but the cutoff there was 93 for general non Maharashtrians and I got 91%. Admission process didn't have any hiccups and it's pretty simple. I chose this college because of the discipline and campus of the college. There are more classes than the other colleges. The eligibility criteria is 55 percent aggregates in intermediate. Also there is the provision of an entrance test to gain admission into the college. The general cut-off is not much high.
