- Entering time at hostel for girls is at 6pm and for boys it is 8pm
Course Curriculum Overview
As all other university's curriculum this college also will help us to attain internship from different companies and IITs. If faculties include more site visits than classroom studying it would be better. The timing of series exams are very favourable to students and there are plenty of time to study for that i.e, series exams will be conducted in afternoon sessions. Semester exams have plenty of gaps between each subjects.
Internships Opportunities
In civil department one of the 4th year student got long term internship in L&T with stipend. And in 3rd year one of my colleague applied for long term internship for 7th sem in Taiwan University with stipend and he got selected along with 12 students in our college from other departments and this will give exposure to all the real life experience.
Placement Experience
S7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies which offered jobs are Hexaware Technologies ,Deloitte ,Wipro ,Ernst&Young Virima ,Federal Bank ,Tata ConsultancyServices ,HDFC Bank ,L&T ,Essaf Bank ,Aarbee etc. Almost 72% of students got placed from this college. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, UST, Global, and Speridian Technologies. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. After degree I plan to get a job or pursue MBA or Mtech.
Fees and Financial Aid
In each successive semester tution fee increases by 100- 800Rs. Since I got management scholarship which is same as government scholarship, I have pay around 20k in odd years and 10k in even years but unlike government qouta students,if the student who has this management scholarship gets supply the whole scholarship gets cancelled and from that particular year onward you have to pay the management fee which will be around 56k-60k. Our college is also offering a Taiwan internship for students who has good cgpa and ability with stiphen.
Campus Life
Name of annual festivals are nakshatra which othe college students can participate and pratitya which only our college students can participate. Our technical fest's name is srishti which give cash prices upto 1lakh for best innovative exhibition. All classrooms have projectors . Sports and extracurricular activities have less importance. Our college has NSS unit which gives us many life lessons and we also have dance club, photography club , literary club etc.
Admission
I got management scholarship since i had good percentage of marks in 12th standard in mathematics, physics and chemistry. At first i saw an advertisement of this college in Facebook and i filled the form and got registered. After somedays i got a call from one of the faculty from this college and informed me about the management scholarship. About exams , there will 2 series exams in a sem and after that sem exam will be conducted.
Faculty
Teachers are highly qualified and are very friendly. They even take extra care for those students who are backward in studies. Each 20 students in a class has one advisor to whom we can open up and can suggest improvement in teaching. Advisors interact with us once in a week or two
