Government engineering college bhuj

Course curriculum is not decided by the college it is decided by the university. the course is of 4 years 1st year is common for all the branches. and last three years will be your major subjects, like for chemical enguineering you will learn chemical engineering thermodynamics, chemical reaction engineering, fluid flow operation, mass transfer operation, instrumentation and process control, mechanical operation, etc. there will be some elective subjects like polymer technology, pulp and paper industry, petroleum refining and petrochemicals etc. at the end of every semester there will be one exam. and it has the 15 internship at the end of third year and 12 week internship in the last semester whiuch will enable to impliment your classroom learning to the real world, and you wil get to learn about how the industry works. it will be very much helpful for your career.

there is not much campus placemets upto the mark as compared to other government colleges. but still you can get the opportunity, currently 3 companys has arrived for campus. one is Zydus which has the highest package we have seen till now. 3.8LPA 11 students were places out of which 7 students were from chemical department. in case you doent get placed through campus placement, you can request the company where you have done internship if there is any vacancies available. many of my batchmates got placed in the same company where they have done intenship.

since it is a government organization fee structure is very much affordable. college feees for year is 2950 which is near to nothing as compared tro private colleges. if you are staying in the hostel then hostel fees will be 1250 for 1 year. since there is no mess currently running so i dint have idea about mess fees. my daily expense for eating was nearly around 150. there is government scholarships available which gives around 11000 annualy.

there is one library in college where you can get access which does not have any additional fee (it is included in the college fees of 2950 annualy) additionaly, our chemical department has started our own library which has the books of chemical engineering and it is run by the students of our department. alll the students donate some amount and buy books every year we has the total strength of 74 students so we made a rool of donating minimum 50 rs. each. so this is how we run departmental library. there is a cricket turnament arranged every year. and in navaratri and ganesh chaturthy there is some eventsd every night. where any body cane shocase their talent like singing dancing etc. we play different games where our faculties also participate. so navratri and ganesh chaturthy are the time i enjoy a lot. time by time our sir HCPatel of civil department organizes some events of expert lectures, tree palntation, etc.

Hostel room facility is very good. it will be shared room of 2 students. in each room there will be 2 beds with mattresses, 2 study table, 2 chairs, individual swithch board near the table with 2 5-pin socket, and 2 switch boards near bed, and one additional switchboard from where you can operate 2 fans and 3 tubelights, one mirror, 3 hangers, and one cupboard with two compartments where 2 students luggage can be easily stored. and i have to mention the view from the window is very much beautiful. hostel fees is 1250. they provide very good facility at this price.

If you have done 12th science or you have done diploma after 10th grade, then you are egligible for the course. cut-off varies year by year but you will get admission here if you have 70% in 12th or in case you have done diploma then 7 CGPA is good enough to get admisison. admission will be done through ACPC website. they will make a chart of seats per college with category wise no. of seats. now they have started entrance test for D2D students. at our time it was based on the STPI of our diploma course.

since it is a government organization the faculties here have done Mtech atleast, some of our faculties are Phd holders fromIITs. but personally the teaching system here is not much favourable for me.
