Life at Arka Jain University

BCA was not like my first choice but with the kind of marks that I had, I knew the best option is BCA and hence I chose BCA. Our course teaches us many languages and almost all the latest softwares that are taught in engineering have been covered in our course. A BCA from Akra Jain is as good as an engineer from an average college and therefore I don't want any changes at least in curriculum that we have.

Even though our university is just four years old but placements are as good as any top universities. Only one batch of BBA students have passed out from the university and from that batch almost 70% students were placed. Companies like HCL Tech, Wipro, and TCS have been the front runners so far and I hope as soon as the university grows old, we will have more and more companies coming from placements and the placement percentage will only get better.

Fees is around 70k a year which I feel is quite fair as university is new but still we have all the facilities as commuting is taken care by the University. Besides that there are also Medical facilities at the university. So total college fees along with projects and all, I believe my total cost of education won't cost me more than 2.5 lakhs.

Our fests starts with the first day of the college as our orientation program Aarambh is an orientation program and the year ends with cultural fest Aagaz. In between too there are many fests as Arka Jain University is known for its culture and the kind of fests that it organizes. As of now not many societies are operational but students have a free hand in that and we will see the societies numbers and their contribution in whatever the mission they have. With regards to sports we have ample facilities like the basketball courts, cricket ground and some Indoor sports like table tennis and chess among others.

Well since it's a fairly new university admissions are granted to almost everyone who applies. The cut-offs are not high and therefore admissions to be honest are very easy. I applied online and the very next day, I was called for document verification. I was given the fees structure and as soon as I paid the fees, I was granted admissions. If one wants immediate admission then also it is possible here as one has to visit an admission counselor and they will take care of the rest.

We have a bunch of qualified faculties who has a teaching experience of at least 10 years if not more. All the faculties here have come from Bangalore or Delhi and have taught in many prestigious universities before joining Akira Jain University. They are quite open and hence can be approached at will.
