Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Since my department is Computer Science and Engineering I would deeply love to see more students joining even though it is one of the most populated departments. BTech is one of the most chosen courses and that's because of the wide variety of knowledge of not only computer science is given but every side of engineering is shown to us to better choose our career in the future.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

College allows you to do internships after 4th sem but only during the summer break when you won't be attending any classes. You'll have to search fot the internship yourselves from any means you need. The college won't help you with that at all. Rest other details will be told to you by the respective company in which you'll be continuing your internship.

Placement Experience

5

College placements are 95-99% and almost every student gets placed. Where they get placed doesn't matter they place almost everyone. Starting from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Some really good tech companies visit the campus and offer students huge packages. The highest package of 2023 passing out batch was 6100000 which was given to four students by the company Accenture. I plan to not sit for campus placements after getting the degree. I'll either opt for off campus placements or getting a Master's degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is pretty high i will say that without a doubt as the fees for the first sem is 1,95,000 but it keeps on increasing every odd sem i.e. every year it keeps on increasing. The total cost must be in between 1600000-1700000 for four years if you commute from your personal vehicle from your home. If you want to stay nearby outside the campus then it will definitely be more and the cost that will be added must be between 100000-150000 INR. If you perform good in 12th and get more than 90% then you'll be eligible for scholarship depending on your percentage but to continue your scholarship, you must get at least 8 CGPA every year without fail or your scholarship will get cancelled. Internships are also provided by the college if you perform well in academics and be diligent with your studies.

Campus Life

5

The social life here at Amity University Noida is pretty chill and almost every month or every other week something keeps happening like come brands come for their advertisements. There are almost every festival celebrated here with great happiness and people take parts in those. Some most awaited festivals are Holi, Amity Youth Fest(AYF), Sangathan which is a sports tournament where students from every campus of Amity assemble and take part in this challenging tournament of various kinds of sports. In AYF many renowned people from Bollywood come and entertain students and teachers by their talents.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel life is very much enjoyable if you'll ignore the restrictions and food benefits and the price. The hostel fees grants you access to unlimited electricity, laundry facilities and 24/7 water. there are two types of hostel provided one is Non-AC and the other is AC hostel the fees for AC hostel is very much, they are exactly double of what the non-AC students pay i.e. AC is190000 and Non-AC= 95000. The hostel fees doesn't include food, you'll have to pay for whenever you need to eat. Registration process for the hostel is easy it is present in the Amizione in the hostel section. I lived in the hostel for 1 year and then left it due to some reasons and rented a PG nearby the locality was not a sight to behold but it is decent.

Admission

Admission process is not at all that hard you just have to call the given number of the University and if you've secured 75% in PCM in 12th then you're eligible for admission but you may be asked to give an online test first which is nothing but just introductory test and some mid-level english test, or you maybe allowed direct admission if you've fulfilled certain criteria. I got direct admission here so I don't really know how and what questions are asked specifically in the online test.

Faculty

4.5

Enough faculty is present there and most of them are highly qualified to teach us, there are just some of them with a pretty bad attitude and anger issues but they also are most qualified to teach a lot such as us. All the faculty present there have done their PhDs and more. Most of the teachers are friendly and almost any student can reach out to them at anytime without any second thoughts.

Placement Experience:

Integral University in the third of engineering asks us to take time out for placements training. Students who haven't done any internships are asked to do one or attend the workshops organized at the university. Thus in the final year, we are fully prepared and companies also are never disappointed as maximum students clear the interviews with ease.

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.
