Likes

Good faculty and experienced teachers. Labs are efficient and well equipped.
Good college crowd and memory making place. Nice people and nice canteen services in the premises with a mix of old and new architecture.
Nice crowd and cultural events as well as college and departmental functions and days.

Dislikes

College politics and elections. I was never a big fan of politics but people who were there seem to enjoy it

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is in fact meticulously designed for students to take them through everything, every topic in an explicit way. All the topics are designed to build a strong academic character for every student. Although it's limited and some topics such as plasma were never covered.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

All things considered the fee structure is high as the course is not covered under grand in aid (GIA) government scheme. At my time the fees was roughly around Rs. 2,00,000 but there is an option for other classes ST/SC, OBC and EBC for an optional scholarship which shall be provided by the college itself.

Campus Life

Satva fest is a departmental festival. Paramarsh festival in msu engineering college and also there is a Science faculty Annual fest and also Science days in the college. Besides that many sports and cultural events are being conducted by the group of students union in the department itself.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is minimum 50% in 12th and 10th grade along with atleast 5 CGPA in Bachelor's degree and the admission process is through a simple MCQ based exam with questions pertaining to the environment science subject. Since I fall in general category I do not know about any other benefits to other categories.

Faculty

Faculty members are all atleast PhD degree holders and very professional way of teaching along with super friendly nature. The last semester for dissertation my guides helped me through everything whenever I was in doubt.

Interview Experience

The test pattern is a simple multiple choice questions (MCQ) based examination where questions pertaining to the environment science subject are included. After the examination the results marksheet is declared for admissions and if you're selected you get it directly through mail. And you can get in any one of the two rounds of the results.

The course curriculum is excellent in every way! The course, which I did was of Life Sciences, and it's curriculum was absolutely wonderful! The syllabus had been designed such that it perfectly aligned with the syllabus of various exams, such as CSIR, GATE etc. And also, for the end semester dissertation, our university allowed us to pursue it from any other institute or university if we wish to, and encouraged us to do so. And because of that I did my dissertation research from SLS, JNU, in cancer biology.

Admission in this Gujarat's top university is through two exams one is GUJCET and other is via JEE MAINS as per engineering is concerned. Also it's one of the best university you can get into. to take entry in this course one must have average score in main 3 subjects of science, maths and english. if he or she is from diploma than he or she must have cgpa more than 8. for entering this university one should pass the entrance exam called NATA .
