- It is near market so it's easy to go and come. Campus is small so you can go anywhere no need of bycycle compare to other NIT. It's beautiful and old architect
Dislikes
- This year placement is not too good it's average.
- Mess food is oily and plates are dirty not much but it's little dirty
Course Curriculum Overview
Course are good we have branch like civil, mechanical,cse, electrical,ece,math, chemical, Cyber security etc. From new education policy it's very complicated because whatever we need to learn in starting it is in last. Course is not in a series it is scattered what I felt sometimes
Internships Opportunities
For electrical engineering they provide internship. For other branches we need to find by ourselves. Which is not good. College should provide internship but good at the same time for those who have connection.
Placement Experience
Placement are decreasing every year due to recession. This year two company said that they provide full time after internship and they just withdraw all seat. And average package is 7-8 LPA For core I will suggest they have other plans other than placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
It's depends on category. For sc and st their is no fee for course. But if they stay in hostel hostel fee they need to give. Those who have per annum salary is greater than 1 lakh they need to pay 30000 course and 30000 for mess and hostel. In future it will increase
Campus Life
Personally I enjoyed every field either it's cultural technical core . I am in music club then in American society of civil engineering as technical member then become core member in sankalp the provide free education to poor students. I am also internship coordinator. Overall I enjoyed and explore my life in college a lot
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is ok but faculty are worst. They never support and always focus on negative things which is very bad. Their behaviour is worst. They only focus that how we can give stress to students. Very worst experience. If you live in your life don't talk much and be happy.
Admission
You need to go through JEE mains. It's depends on category. For SC and St: 92% in cse For OBC:95% For general:97% For ece just 1-2 % less For civil and mechanical girls: 92-91% last round If you talk about all India rank it's below 90000 if you are SC st you got CSe in last round for girls
Faculty
Faculty are good enough. So the point is in one teacher out of 100 care about students a lot and friendly. But mostly are if you go talk then they will care means you need to approach. But some teachers are very friendly too good. If you go to teacher you definitely got very deep knowledge about your department rather than senior because after all they are more experienced
