Likes
- The environment over there is pretty good since it is far from the city. Good hygiene bathrooms are present . The faculty is pretty good but has a lot of youngsters.
- The seniors in our college are good and who don't rag or bully the juniors. When it comes to about APS , I can assure that you will feel better
- All the teaching and non teaching staff are friendly and kind . They also show great responsibility when it comes to a student development .
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is pretty old . They might need to make better of the fees that we pay and build some new buildings
- They are less number of people to interact with . A lot of students don't join APS because it is very old and needs new renovations
- Overall the things the APS needs to improve a lott is the teaching faculty. Most of the teachers in APS are pretty less experienced.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well I didn't think much. Since my KCET ranking was pretty much above 90K , I thought of going to some other cources. They somehow I ended up going to this cource and choosing it which is- AIML ( Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning ) . Since our college is based on VTU board , the exams are pretty tuff and valuation is to the extreme. In VTU if u have scored arnd 75 % it is almost equal to the people who have arnd 90% in autonomous college . The cources is good , no doubt about it but since our teaching faculty is pretty inexperienced, we need to learn a lott by other sources . They are some pros and some cons about this college
Fees and Financial Aid
Well if we want to talk about the fees , mine came around to be 1.15 Rs lakhs/year . Compared to other colleges who take 3-7 Rs lakhs/year , I can say that I will be getting the same degree as others . Including the fees there are cons too such as * The infrastructure is pretty old *The teaching staff needs to get improvement * There aren't more people *The strength of the whole college might be equal to the sections of one cource in some other college
Campus Life
Recently our seniors farewell and the annual year program was celebrated together . The name of the fest was called " Aakruthi " which was done by our seniors . There was also a movie promotion which which went pretty good. There a less number of fests and the college doesn't give any funds to celebrate any type of other activities. Coming to infrastructure vise , our college needs a lot of improvement in the terms of infrastructure . The buildings are old and might need renovation . There are patches in the walls and the classrooms are tidy . In the old building there are lots of old benches and since the rooms are tidy , around 3-4 people sit in one bench.
Admission
First when I entered the college premises, I got to know that this might be a pretty low budget engineering college . As the guess came to be true , we were asked to fill the details about my precntage in the 12th and 10th and select the course that I was looking for . The process of admission was easy and took less than an hour . At first my father was asked to pay 1.5lakhs/year , but due to some influence we reduced to 1.15.
Faculty
The faculty over there are pretty good. I can't give them a lot of credit but when it comes to our college , it is kinda need improvement in the teaching factor . The teachers or professors are a little inexperienced and they some to our college just to gain experience. I am not saying that our college is lacking teaching faculty but compared to other colleges our college gets easily defeated . In other colleges there is atleast a good infrastructure but when it comes to our college we lack a lot of things such as high tech computers , etc. Our college isn't even worst of the worst , I can say that it needs improvement. A lott of improvement. Getting a placemt in our college might be the real deal ,even if you get it , it might be for around 3 or 4 lakhs per annum .
