Remarks

The college management is also good they conduct many events for us regarding useful topics. They also conduct placement training every semester which is of good help to the students.

Entrance Preview

I took Karnataka CET exam after my pic. I scored 50,000rank in Karnataka CET . I opted this college because it was a good college for that range of rank. And even some people suggested me this college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college is under VTU Vishweshwarya technological University. Obviously the curriculum followed is of VTU. And the VTU curriculum is considered as one of the standard syllabus all over the state. So the curriculum is as good as it is supposed to be.

Internships Opportunities

There is no internship available as far as my information is considered. I'm still in 1st year and I don't know much about the internship opportunities But the placements are available and some companies had come for placement of 4th year students

Placement Experience

3

The placements are available in fourth year and some companies had visited the campus in the month of February as far as we have seen. There is also placement training in every semester. Companies such as NTT data m/s silver peak global m/s next novity microland had come for the placements this year and many students have been placed .

College Events

2.5

I have spent an year in this college after joining. There were many events conducted so far. When it comes to technical events many seminars were conducted. Like a seminar was conducted on quantum physics and also on Auto-cad . A whole week was dedicated as sports week. A fest will be conducted in every even semester.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure isn't expensive. The students who have come through Karnataka CET have to pay the CET fees as said by the CET people . This year CET fees was 56000 rupees. And also you need to pay the college fees i.e 25000 rupees apart from the CET fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is loan facility from the College itself. They have tied up with axis bank and ICICI bank for providing loans to the students. We can apply for the loans through college. There is also a scholarship available called e-vidya and vidyasiri scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

There are some 1000 students on the campus. Gender ratio is 60:40 boys and girls respectively. Dj party was conducted in the month of March. Many seminar were also conducted. Ethnic day was celebrated. Some seminar was conducted on women empowerment and gender bias.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility is also quite good. I would rate it 7 on a scale of 10. The hostel has the capacity of accomodating 200 students. And right now there are only 100 students in the hostel. So there is no limitation like only few seat n all. The mess food is also good . I would rate it 6 on a scale of 10.

Alumni/Alumna

I have only met few alumnis who had come for the college fest. They gave some good tips. And the seniors are also helpful especially the hostel seniors are good and they helped us during exams.

Exam Structure

One semester is of 6 months duration and the classes will be held only for 3 months followed by 2 months of exams which includes the VTU lab and external exams followed by a month holiday. There will be 3 internal tests one each a month . It is not hectic u can complete them with ease.

Admission

I took this college in Karnataka CET option entry. I entered the college name and I got it in first round. So I selected it and paid the CET fees as instructed in the website. The admission process wasn't hard. It was quite easy. I paid the fees n my admission was confirmed.

Faculty

4

The faculty at the college is good. Teachers r friendly and they are ready to solve your doubts at any time. The faculties are also well qualified and experienced. There are also some industry experienced faculties. The teaching is good and all the teachers are student friendly.

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%
