The environment of study and extra curriculum activities.
The friendly nature of the class teacher.

The campus is so small compare to other collages.
Only some class rooms has air conditioner.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of study is good, although this is a government affiliated college. But the college give us freedom to do what we choose. There are no suggestion from me to improve anything as it is enough for any student. The timing of exams are okay In one semester 1 to 2 months of exam done by the schedule.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is cheap compare to others engineering colleges in India. There are no such extra charges just for every semester exam fees is 1200. I get the government scholarship. Campus employment is not too much but the clubs give us the role and responsibilities to be a good worker in society.

Campus Life

The annual fest is anakronus by the club ankuran. Here every year Bollywood star came and perform for us. College have one of the biggest library where we took the books of semester for this no need to buy any books for semester. For sports we have techotkarsh club which held every sports competition every year twice. There are many clubs for society and others things also. There are geekonix which is a tech club.

Admission

I came this college through WBJEE. So no such application froms application fees are alive for me. In this college there are no reservation but they have fees waiver quota. The admission procees is half computerised and half paper based so some issue arised if the student are not aware of everything.

Faculty

The faculties are too comfortable to student and well qualified. There's teaching style are too different. They give us mentorship whenever we need. I always interact with my teachers and ask everything about study and exams.

IIT KGP: The kgpian way

Placement Experience:

4 yr btech students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of their 3rd yr(5th sem) and for placement 7th sem. 5 yr dual degree students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of 4th yr(7th sem) and for placement 9th sem. So many different profile companies came for placements like amazon, google, ibm, apple, l&t, wipro, infosys, texas intrument, etc. Highest package was 3cr and average is about 20-25 lakhs. Insightful Review - Revealing about campus life and academics.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semeter. Companies visited till now are : tejes - 9lpa, keysite - 7lpa, streebo - 5lpa and a few other product based companies with average pakage offered about 3lpa. Higest pakage - salesforce (32 lpa) off campus, keysite (7lpa) on campus. Last year 60% of total students from final year got placed. My plans is to purusue a higher degree as placement scene of your college is not that great and also i have intrest in ai/ml so i want to study future and dive more deep into its concepts

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.

I applied for the jee exam but couldn't cracked, they applied for wbjee i got an 8k rank, on that rank I was getting only this college, and a few other, i don't go to Hit Haldia bcoz they are in the village area, reason come here is due to more faculty member in my branch, in IT branch we have 30 faculty member, that's a more reason to come, one more reason is easily accessible of transport, it only take 15 rupee from Kolkata station to my college that's why...Read More
