Dit University, A good college

The curriculum was fine and up to-date with modern technology. All the major subjects were covered including the skills needed to clear the interviews and social life and office ethics. And only things i would i change are the subjects the teach in the first year which i think are irrelevant with the course. Exams were conducted every 2-3 months and quizzes were conducted every month.

After the 5th semester everyone becomes eligible for placement and most of the companies have cutoff of 6 CGPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, cognizant, Wipro and many other companies visit. And the average package is around 4.5 LPA and around 90% students gets placed during college placements.

Fees in this college is on the high side, you need to pay around 1L every 6 months and you need to pay it before starting the semester otherwise you won't be registered for that semester. Total it cost around 8-9 L for the course and if you include the hostel cost for 4 years its 4L extra.

Campus life here is really good, college conducts yearly festival Youthopia every year and it conducts DJ mob every 3 months fir college. College Library is fully furnished with books on all departments including the e-books and the library's infrastructure is also really good it have AC and Computers in the library for students. College conducts yearly sports event and students for different colleges also visit to participate.

Hostel has 4 wings, one for first years and it has only tripple sharing rooms but the rooms are really good, second for 2 years students they get single rooms and third for third year students who get double sharing and last for forth year they get single room. Hostel food is fine on most days but there is room for improvement especially when they cowt around 1L per year and they don't serve non veg, I think it should be an option to get non veg.

I found out about the college admissions from college website and you need to fill the firm provided there and pay a fees for the form or you can directly go to any admissions seminar opened by the college. Eligiblity criteria includes more than 60% in 10+2. And there is reservations for the students who belong to Uttarakhand.

The college has really good faculty, most of them are phd and theaching methods are really effective, they use the updated data and information to provide the learning. And CS lectureres uses live practical examples to teach the fundamental and complex things. And if there were any doubts it was easy to get an one on one session during lab with professors.
